Yes, they can eat it and it is included in many prepared parrot foods. My parrots usually just pick them out and toss them, but they can eat them. The only human foods that they must NEVER be given are avocados and chocolate. They don't digest dairy, so it might make them sick, but it isn't technically poisonous. No junk food either. But chilepeppers are ok.

Yes, particularly the larger parrots. My macaw loves fresh jalapenos. But my sun conure won't touch them. My African Grey and the Cockatoos did not particularly care for them, but they are just like people, some will like some things and others won't. But, it will not hurt them. As the other lady on here said, no avacado or chocolate. Other than that, it is up to them what they do and don't like.

Yes they can. If you look in most parrot seed mixes you will usually find dried peppers. They love them!

No. Why take a chance? That's only in the movies or cartoons.

ask the pet doctor im not sure i had a bird befor well i know some one who had a bird and you should feed it bird food sunflower seeds just take off the shells

My Conure and tiel both love peppers of any kind. Long as they are hot they like them.
