When you say "I love you" to somebody after a month of being with them? I said that a few days ago, and she won't return my phone calls.
It's not like I'm saying, "marry me".

I also don't see what is wrong with saying i love you to someone. Doesn't that show how much you care for them? Honestly, I am sick of saying I love you to a guy and them being scared not to say it back. What the hell is wrong with them?

Leave it alone, and see when and if she will contact you. It seems like she has some serious problems with communication. If she had a problem with you saying you loved her after a month, then she should be able to express her concerns instead of avoiding you and or the issue. I say stop calling and wait to hear from her and what she has to say, if anything!

Perhaps you scared her a bit. She might be thinking that your trying to rush her into a relationship that is more than she is looking for at present. If possible try and sit down and have a sensible conversation with her and be brutally honest with her about your feelings. You may want to let her know that it is fine if she doesn't have the same feelings at present but that you hope in time that she will feel same emotion. Good luck to you.

Either her phone doesn't work which isn't an excuse or she is scared to love you. Also she may not feel the same way and doesn't want to mess up the vibe y'all have had. She may have been in a relationship where she said she loved that person too soon and regretted it later.

Our society takes the concept of love very seriously; it an extremely intense set of feelings that doesn't get thrown around lightly. What does it mean to you? Apparently, it means something way deep (too deep for comfort, apparently).
As a reference, I agree with Heinlein's (I think it was him) definition of love: When you love someone, your happiness is dependent on their's. Can this happen after a month? If so, think it'll last, or is it just the "honeymoon" phase?

could be u scared her, espec. if it wasn't that long ago when u started dating. she might not be ready for a serious relationship and she doesn't want to hurt ur feelings. you also might be calling her too much and now she's afraid of being stalked as well. just give her a few days, then leave a message on her machine with whatever u want to say to her. after that, just leave her alone and let her call u back if she wants to.

You don't "love" anyone after being with them a month. You must have scared her away. Back off and give her room to breathe. Wait a month, then give her a call and say you just got carried away because she is so wonderful.

saying, I love you, to somebody, after a month may seem like a big step for her and she may not be ready to take that step..or she could be scared, because she may not feel the same way..try and talk to her and get her feelings on this..

Maybe she don't want to be held down...I feel you though bro...but thats one mistake I learned never to do...say it in a year or wait for her to say it...
She also might have though you wanted to step it up a bit and start having sex..."thought you wanted sex" yeah lets go with that...

Yes it is.....you should say "I really care for you" if you don't want to scare away the gals/guys. What's she suppose to say? "I love you too"? Even if she doesn't feel that way? Save it, Dude...just "care"......Love will come sooner than you think.
