I used to sit on the porch with Grandpa, and often we would talk about the religious justifications for wars.

He told me a story as follows:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the very first war in recorded history - The Cave Men versus The River People - which occurred some 14,000,000 years ago, archaeologists found some interesting inscriptions near the battlefield.

From the Cave Men - "We Fight for the Great God of Caves!!!"
and
From the River People - "We Fight for the Great God of Rivers!!!"

and, now this is very odd, archaeologists also found this inscription:
"We Love the Village People - YMCA, YMCA."
---------------------------------------------------------

Your Grandpa is a GREAT historian! Listen to him. But smile a little while you are listening! That's really great.

Sounds like some kind of myth or legend.

People havent been around for 14 million years, and obviously if they had, they wouldnt have spoken clear english, with a writing system and set of religions.
