sounds like it could be a combination of things. swelling aching legs and fluid retention can be signs of congestive heart failure (CHF) or some other circulation problem. aching joints is a major sign of arthritis. could be that you have both things going on. it also could be a variety of viruses, such as west nile virus, or it could also be some kind of electrolyte imbalance, such as hypernatremia (too much sodium in your body) or hypokalemia (not enough potassium in your body). you will want to check with a doctor to be sure.

Those symptoms could be different things. Do you have kidney problems? Best to get a full check up.
