he doesn't have a job, hangs out with a posse of ruffians, believes in love, would NOT support a war for power and profit - yes, He would see through the BS spewed by the warmongers unlike the most of you sheep who would see though it as well if you paid any attention to facts, would question the justice of our current economic system, and would clothe the naked and feed the hungry because what you do to the least among you, you do unto Him. I don't think you'd crucify him, but you would ignore him. You'd approve sending him to Guantanamo if people began to follow in his steps.

He would be hated for being so intolerant and narrow-minded...claiming to be THE way, THE truth and THE life and the ONLY way to heaven.
The news media would rip him apart, and so would every "intellectual" and "progressive thinker" from most of the universities and colleges today.
He would be the butt of every comedian's jokes. Ridiculed on countless television shows and despised by the world's religions.
Religious, self-righteous people wouldn't take him seriously. They would dismiss him and undermine his authority.
I'm so looking forward to Him coming back and silencing many mouths and making everything right. Come Lord Jesus.

I think he would be considered a cult leader, just as he was then. He would be on a FBI most wanted list, and instead of crucifixion, we would sentence him to life in jail without the possibility of parole. I think that we as a society only follow the worn down path that everyone else is traveling, and if you happen to fall off the path, you are ostracized.

at best he would like you said end up marginalised as un-American or maybe even in Guantanamo Bay as you suggested. That indeed is a terrifying question.

if jesus were around to day people would mostly ignore him like they do the rest of the soap box preaching hippies on the corner. either that or he would be sent 5150 to the nearest looney bin.
