I have a flight later today. I'm making extra sure not to have any metal on me. I'm emptying my bottle of water before I get to the security checkpoint. I made sure not to put my toothpaste or anything in my carry-on. If they still pull me aside and make me strip, I guess I have no choice but to do it because it's an important trip.

However, if I couldn't wear clothes in public I don't think I'd ever go outside. Maybe if it was really dark out. Anyhow, I personally wouldn't feel very secure around a bunch of naked people anyway. It's too far from my norms.

No !!!!!!!!!!!!

Patriot Act is near to be full operational !!

They forged "terror" to make us swallow things like the Patriot Act or National ID,

They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :

And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

No, and with the technology available today there is no need to.

Most scanners can see straight through clothing, and as 7/7 in London showed, the bombs were in rucksacks.

Did you see the footage from the World Cup this summer though. Football fans were forced to take off any clothing that had logo's of non Tournament sponsers on. How far would you go to support your team?

I think that the underlying question here is what would I do to ensure national security? Well to be honest... anything. I am taking a flight for the first time at the end of this month and to be honest I am scared to death and I am not looking forward to the long lines at security but if standing in a long line and going through additional security means that I am going to make it from one coast to another in one piece then bring it on.

People can make fun of your question, but I think the underlying question, speaks for itself. I think we have given up enough (for the so-called sake of national security), under the Bush Admin. Is that where you're headed with this?

I wish I knew how to create a link-I don't.

if we don't fly naked the terrorists will have won!

now where am i going to keep my id?

well as much as your idea might work in some way, yeah, its just going too far. besides "terrorists" will just wear something that from a distance looks like a fat skin suit and have explosives under it or something.

Someone's mad.

Would you give up your life for national security? I know security is getting tough but come on, we need a bit of a crackdown to stop more attacks.

A tad unhygienic isn't it? Unless all the airline seats become washable/wipe-able vinyl!

no. scanning methods are sufficient to detect weopons and materials, and even if you were naked, there are still 2 or 3 places that something could be hidden...!
