What is Elfin Loaf?

Elfin Loaf was a one of two choices for her lunch today and we couldn't figure out what the heck it is! I know it's not bread made out of Sean Astin, so don't say it! LOL!

This is one of those strange items on school board menus that no one knows what it really is. I remember it being kind of like thick bread with some fruit in it. However, once I left grade school, I never saw it again and never have missed it.

An Elfin loaf is what an elf leaves in the woods. He usually pinches it off, hence, pinch a loaf.
