No matter what wedding you plan, you're going to have family members on both sides gripe about something. You will never make everyone happy. If you and your fiance want a destination wedding in Mexico, go for it! If you make it clear that your guests will be paying their own way if they want to come, then it can be cheaper. The resort we stayed at for our honeymoon had a beautiful Spanish chapel for these weddings. They took care of everything but the wedding dress. Best of luck!

It all depends on where in Mexico you want to get married. there are some really nice places to get married in Mexico.so i say go for it good luck

I got married in Mexico, it was amazing, and yes it is legal in the US. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

it would be great. if it's only the two of you. if both sides of the family wanted to attend. then you'll hear about scheduling and the cost for them to come. if it's small like both of you a best man, and bride's maid, then it would be awesome. not too many people had done it. (not including mexican). talum (south of cancun) is a nice place to get married.

Sure!! it would be cheaper and you can have a wonderful destination wedding at the beach for example. There are plenty of places that offer wedding planning services, so this you don't have to bother too much.
