I am not atheist, but I have read the Bible thru a few times. Perhaps that is part of why I can see that the Holy Bible has been added to. (Given that a lot of 'Christians' in this country the last few years have not voiced the violations, I can understand part of why atheist, agnostics are turned off by other 'Christians' too.,

I have. I saw Jesus all over the old testament!
For just a couple of examples, Isaac was a pre-Christ figure in that he carried the wood for his own sacrifice up the hill and had done nothing to incur his father's wrath; yet he was obedient even unto death. Jesus was also the lamb given to Abraham to sacrifice instead of Isaac. Jesus was in the firey furnace with the three Hebrew boys! Jesus was the well spring of water that quenched the dying thirst (thirst for salvation) of Hagar's baby Ishmael (father of the Arab nation) in the desert; showing God's future provision for ALL people through Christ.
I love the Lord and I love his word! The bible is a wonderful guide to life now and life everlasting!

I don't know how many times I have read the Bible, and even if I did, it is not important that, you or anyone else know. But the Word, ( Bible ), is not to be merely read, as an obligation of being a christian. We are to have a zeal and a love for reading God's word. We are to search the scriptures for the treasures to be found in it. And all the treasures add up to one word.....Truth, and it is this truth that sets us free.

I have. It was required reading when i was in Catholic School. I'm an Eclectic now, but it is still a book i think everyone should read along with other books such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead, The Classical Books of the Greek and Roman Gods, The Bagvaghita, The Writings of Alaster Crowley, and other major religious texts. Please excuse any miss spelling of the names.

I've read the entire new testament and some of the old testament, but that's it. I have no desire to read any more of it.
I don't understand how people place so much emphasis on the bible. Even taken at face value it makes no sense.

Pray for me, too - I'm also an atheist who has read the entire Bible. I seriously doubt it will do any good, but I guess it couldn't hurt.

I have, and this is a good question. Atheist don't believe in God because if He is real there might be some consequences, like the Bible says confessing themselves to be wise they became fools. You don't have to believe in God, you don't have to believe in heaven, and what they don't realize is that they don't have to believe in hell to go there. Many are going to be in for a rude awakening one of these days thru no ones fault but their own, because the gospel has been made availiable to them. They believe in air, but they can't see it, but it wouldn't take them long to suffer the consequences if they didn't have it.
Keep praying Christians.

I have several times and unlike some I know that there has to be a God for even Jesus said (Those who have ears let them hear ,who have eyes let them see! Ask your self how can man go from asexual.to man and woman in one generation having all the sexual parts work it just can not happen. For they would only have one chance. that's all the reproductive organs nerves everything. Maybe people shouldn't separate nature and God.

I have, more than once.
That's one small reason I am an atheist.
I encourage everyone to read a bible. Best way to discover for yourself the bible is a book of mythology.
Response to mean, hateful comments directed at atheists:
I am ENCOURAGING people to read the bible and I'm being vilified for doing so?
I wish you guys would make up your minds.
Okay, DON'T read the bible. Just listen to whatever Pat Robertson tells you it says (and means when he puts his spin on it).
You can pray for me but don't waste your time or mine by asking me to give you money for doing so.
Here, read the info on this link when you finish praying:
