Love is painful. I'd marry for money and never form real feelings for the person. That way if things didn't work out, I wouldn't be out anything, in fact I'd be even richer!

What if you never learned to love him. That actually is very selfish and it says alot about how you are. Example, I am not the richest person is the world but I have a boyfriend that has a house, a nice boat, a house at the river, a motorcycle,a nice truck, a car, a good job and all that and we have been together 3 years but 2 months ago I got was unhappy with how things were going so I left, I left because the love was lacking, I did not think about material stuff. When I went back, we started practicing showing the love that we used to and now we are good but being happy is more important than money, money does not buy happiness. Sorry but it doesn't!

I already did that marry for love thing and it didn't work out. So this time around I believe I would do it for the money and like you learn to love the honey later.

LOVE! It's the one thing money can't buy as some mod english rocker once said. You can fill your life with things and hope that they'll take the place of genuine feelings or you can start with a genuine feeling and begin to realise those things that you thought were so important really don't mean a thing.
To paraphrase you, Learn to Love!
It's those things that you selflessly surrender of yourself in order to truly love someone that pay the big dividends in life.

I would marry for love because if I marry for money I would never be happy with him. My life would be miserable I would get a divorce and find someone I love in my heart. But if he was the one I loved and he was rich and I didn't know about it I would be happy.

love is first ,always. what good is money when you have a lifelong sentance with someone you don't love? having said that there are practical matters to consider. how will you live , where. ? will any children have to suffer because of your choices? so the answer, is you need both. you need love first, then you need enough money to live in a comfortable way. don't settle for only one or the other. demand both. wait for both. then you will be happy always.

For love...but you know what to be honest with you, you have to think in the long run too and be realistic, because without money even love will suffer. so you need both. i mean unless you want to be like in love homelesses or something but i dont know. i think you need a little bit of both. Good Luck.
