Amadeo Modigliani (July 12 1884- January 24 1920) is the author.

The Title is "Portrait of Jeanne Hebuterne with Hat and Necklace"

She was Amadeo Modigliani's common law wife, this means they were a couple although they were not married. She moved in with Modigliani at a very young age, when Modigliani died on January 24 1920, she threw herself out of her fifth floor flat two days later. She was laid to rest next to the love of her life, as she wished, almost 10 years after the tragedy.

She is a common subject on Modigliani's paintings. Their orphanaged daughter grew up with an aunt in italy, not knowing about her parents, and after doing lots of research as an adult, she wrote a biography on her father, published in the U.S. as "Modigliani: Man and Myth".

She was born on April 6, 1898, and died on January 26, 1920.
