- Parents giving their children a hard time and sometimes even yell at them for asking them this question in fear of their kids doing it ..

- Wrong partners who force upon themselves on them

- Lack of family education in schools

- Unprotected sex (yes the little raincoat #1 reason)

- Peer pressure by other school students (2nd biggest reason)

The best way to avoid it is to choose your partners wisely .. a partner who cares about you and your future is a partner who is willing to be with you till you are ready .. both financially and emotionally ..

A partner who just wants sex and not be responsible for their actions or somehow has the mentality that sex is a must after graduation because his buddies think so? not worth it specially if he starts to force himself upon you that's when you run and i DO mean run .. early indication of possible rape attempt .. what's rape? when a man is going to force you despite your saying no

teens get pregnant due to lack of parental guidance. The parents don't teach them about std's, aids, or even condoms. Most likely they are going to be scared of the consequences of talking to their child....

first of all i had my first child at 16... i dont reget having my son..he has a great life...and i didnt get pregnant to get attention from someone...my parents did teach me better but in the moment we got caught up and the condom never got put on...and to blame it on my parents is wrong...just like some adults get pregnant when they dont want to..adults make the same mistakes but god knows you cant say hey you are this and that and your parents didnt raise you right..everyone messes up...it is the way you deal with it that really counts
