i went to the doctor today and mine was 130\88...how high is that can someone tell me..

I just got diagnosed with high blood pressure too, my doctor told me he is not really going to put me on anything until my bp stays above 140 for several visits, watch your sodium intake and drink lots of water and ask your doctor if you are worried but he also told me not to worry about it because it can only make it worse.

you should consult your doctor. However I do believe that is considered borderline. the top number seems high and the bottom number is like 3 pts higher than normal. If I am not mistaken they like it to be 120/85. I have high blood pressure and in 2005 I ha a baby there is medication they can prescribe that will be safe during pregnancy.

There are a number of factors regarding blood pressure .. you have to take into account your height .. age .. weight .. previous medical history regarding blood pressure before it can be determined whether or not your blood pressure is too high or not
I know that there are charts all over the web that tell you what blood pressure should be but it's dangerous to do self examination when it comes to this ...

i think thats now considered high. but really, ask ur doctor, its not such a great idea to get medical advice on here.
