It depends on the people. I wouldn't want a 14 year old to date a 21 year old just cause of the adult/minor thing. As long as they are both adults then it shouldn't matter.
I'm seeing an older guy myself (freaks out the friends too) and the age difference is 11 years. But we are like old friends.
So it all depends on the people, how they react with each other, like each other. Age shouldn't matter.

i imagine it does, no longer continuously, yet regularly. It makes more effective of a huge difference at the same time as both are youthful because there's a particular era of time to achieve finished adulthood. with the help of the overdue 20's, maximum folk have matured as a lot as they ever will. Why does it make a huge difference in a LTR? Commonality. at the same time as 2 activities are more effective than a decade aside, they might have a distinct POV on their recommendations of growing up. they are going to regularly have distinct values too. for example a 40 year previous is relationship a 24 year previous. The 40 year previous lived the pop custom of the 80's. To the 25 year previous, the 80's is only a topic evening at a community evening club on the first friday of the month.

As long as you and the person you are dating share a lot in common, and are at similar stages in your life than it is usually ok to date someone older. Especially if it is the man who is older, as men tend to be more immature (not meaning this in a bad way) than women. I've been in a situation in which there were 12 years between me and him, and it's working out just fine.

Fine by me, especially for women in their 20s who date older men. Men in their 20s are too immature to handle a serious relationship.

Half plus 7 rule
Take the older person, divide their age in half, then add 7, and thats the youngest they should date.

no one will can answer that. to many factors. what does society limit. what does each indivdual limit and what does you friends and family accept. also it's up to each individual couple what they think. No can know for sure cause they have not finished having raltionships cause the are not dead so you can never know. My self I could care less. I have had feeling some one younger than me and it didn't work.

Age makes no difference between consenting adults. And at least for this one, there is no law against ppl of wide age differences dating. Who cares? Only those who think that the taboo should hold. No doubt, you'll hear from a LOT of those ppl right under this answer---------------------->>>>>>>>>>>>>>
