It should be simple to find if you go to start then go to control panel then add remove and look in there for anything listed as a pop-up blocker. Good luck !!!!!

A popup blocker does just that--blocks advertising that pops up on your screen. disabling the popup blocker allows ads to be displayed on your screen. If this is what you want, try right-clicking on the popup blocker and disable it.

Hijack this wont remove ahything, is it a program to list everything gong on in ur computer
Leave the popup blocker alone, its doing its job.
have you downloaded yahoo toolbar, there is a popup blocker on that, next to search box.
or try placing ur mouse over the bottom of ur browser, see the 5 boxes at bottom, right click on second from left, that is also a popup blocker,

The previous answers wont help because that kind of spyware prevents those methods from working.
You should look for a download called HijackThis (all one word) and use that to remove anything that looks bad or that shouldn't be there.
You can get it from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ and it doesn't contain any spyware or junk that you don't need.
Then you should install Winpatrol from http://www.winpatrol.com to make sure nothing like this can get on your system again.
