If you were sitting in the Emergency Aisle on a plane and something happened and you were called to duty by the airline crew, would you help, even if it meant putting your own life at risk to assist others?

Yes, you agree to do that when you CHOOSE to sit there. If you don't want that responsibility, then you may sit elsewhere. It's not just a nice seat to sit in with more legroom...there's a responsibility.

Hella Yeah i would.
I would even fly the plane if need be.
I would definitely risk my life to help others
What a rush it would be the thought of the plane going down so much tension on board everyone screaming all at the same time

I try to always sit there (more leg room) and I always take it seriously. All you have to do is open the door and be the first one out actually. You don't have to be the guy who helps all the ladies out and then dies when the plane explodes with only him left on it. I don't think I'd help strangers out if it put my life in too much danger. I think I'd just get as far away as I could, as fast as I can.

Yes,altho there is much bitterness in the world today,I think it is human instinct to help another that is suffering.I am a truck driver and have seen many bad accidents out here.I have pulled over and help some.Like I said I think its just instinct.

heck, id help, id help, and wouldnt leave the plane until every soul was off that craft. i am one of those ppl who wishies they were at the wtc when the planes crashed to help look for survivors. id prolly lead the group in.
