No, he started it when he was in college. The college news reporters heard about him only eating subway to loose weight, and did an article on him. Some how Subway found out, and cut him a deal for all the commercials, etc.
The Subway diet was his creation, not Subway's.

That's as big a crock as the 40 year old guy that gained 12 pounds of muscle in six weeks on Bow Flex.Subway hardly puts anything on those sandwiches anyway. The proper way to lose weight is to split up your meals into 6-8 a day eating small portions and cutting back on carbs.Carbs like the bread that every Subway sandwich has.Eat plenty of lean protein, vegetables and fiber.Get some exercise and you'll expedite your weight loss even more.
It's only false advertising if you've got the time and resources to prove it.He's making a fortune off of those commercials so he won't be volunteering for any tests

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Mainly he exercised but Subway helped very little. And I mean little. One cannot lose weight entirely by just eating little, Oh that's right, that's what Paris Hilton does. LOL.

Well, it is a bit curious. I did the subway sandwhiches and salads for about 4 months and I lost 15 lbs. But I cut out all sodas, sweets, and walked everyday.

Music forces you to eat more. According to a work by the journal Psychology along with Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage someone to take time over your meal, so you consume more meal. So, switch off – silence can make you more aware of what you’re setting up your mouth.

He walked a pretty huge distance to the Subway each day. He ovbiously exercised too - but the bulk of his weight was lost through the cardio he did thorugh walking.
