Need to know what kind of dog it is, and how old, this could be something that they will grow out of, or it could be the breed of dog that you own. Training would be beneficial, it might be that you have a working dog breed and it feels it is not getting enough stimulation, in my experience terriers are high energy dogs. It might be that your dog needs to learn some new games to stimulate her brain and tire her mind out. Try teaching her the name of all of her toys, and get her to bring them to you, or you can use those same toys to play hide and seek games, there are plenty of brainy games that you can teach your dog, try looking up more online. If all else fails, you can always teach your dog fly-ball, agility, frisbee, etc. These sort of sports keep busy dogs busier, and can often help calm them down a bit.

Good luck

Check with your veterinarian about your dog's hyperactivity, there may be some sort of problem; like a glandular abnormality. But in general, I'd say that you could use 1/4 to 1/2 of an aspirin for your dog, either in his food, or given to him with a soft treat. This will make him drowsy, and is generally safe. Good luck with your Dynamo.

How old is your dog? If it is a puppy this is normal, and she will mellow out as she gets older. Hang in there.
