i am making mustard thyme catfish fillets and need some good side dishes....i was thinking maybe steamed veggies and a baked potato, but am unsure........

Fried catfish - homemade baked beans, good southern coleslaw & of course hushpuppies...

Grilled catfish - baked potatos, fresh garden salad & homemade garlic bread.

That sounds good. No bread if you have the potato.

A nice rice pilaf would be good instead of the potato.

Rice would be good, like a cajun rice, and some corn bread. I don't eat fish, but those sound good to me.

go for cornbread or cornbread stuffing/dressing. All recipees can be found on food network and they are good.
