What am i missing?

Question

I'm trying to be a good Christian but i find it so hard to have a reason to live and breathe. I hate life at times and at times i pray to God that he would just let me die. I don't know if its a sin but i do know that i'm dying inside and i'm braking slowly. What's missing in my life. I really do try to be a good person but will i ever become the world changer that i long to be or will i live to keep fighting the people who try to fix me.

I'm 16 and all i want to do is grow up and become someone great and a true Christian.

I think i know a bit of how you feel. Sometimes I wonder why i am still alive, why am i here? I feel so worthless, and just wish i could suddenly have some sort of accident that'd remove me from mortal existance, but even then i'd think that no one would really notice that i'm gone because i was never meant to make a difference in life. One explanation offered is that this is the devil that is trying to make me think this way because all he wants to do is make us as miserable as him and be in his power, right? So if this is what's happening, then i gues all i can tell you is to remember that God is the one who put you here, and if you don't think you have a reason to be alive, then why did he put you here? Trust me, i think God has his reasons for everything. So next time you're thinking this way, try to remember that you do have a purpose and there are people all around you that need you. it might be in little ways, or something major, who knows? Just stay strong. ;) God's not the only one depending on you.

What are you missing? Life in general. You are waiting for some mystical being to come down and rescue you. All the while, your life is passing you buy. Don't feel bad though, man has been pointing to the sky and asking for answers for things we didn't currently understand - since the beginning of man. It is time for you to realize that noone is going to fix your life except for you. Be positive, have faith in YOURSELF, and get out there and take part in life. You may be surprised.

You have two serious problems. The most is you are trying to hard to please God. If you are a christian then you belong to Him. He bought you at the cost of his flesh and blood. You need to understand that He will take you to himself and all you need to do is to trust Him. The other problem you have is that you are just 16 and your hormones are in a jumble. Hang in there for just a little while and see the beauty God will be putting into your life...Jim

The bible says it clear, that for as many as in Christ ... have power to be called daughters of God; should a true son/daugther of god feel that low? NO
But the bible in John 10:10 says the devil gives us unneccessay ideas to make blind so that he may steal kill and destroy our joy, peace and general existence.... but believe me the devil is a liar... cos in that same verse the bible explains that God has come that you may have life and have it in full.

Who will you believe the devil or God... i am sure God

Dear just cheer up and live your life in full; am so sure the crazy thouts you have are lies from the devil and just dont let him fool you around as you are Gods true child;

The world loves You and for sure God loves you better

Jeremiah 29:11 says that God so loves you that He has a very good future awaiting you;

Cheer up and grow strong in God

Is it possible that you are trying to be a good person on your own? None of us have the ability to be a good person apart from the strength of Jesus living his life through us - not one.

We don't have to try hard to be a good person, we will never make it! Jesus died for us because we're not good people and we need him desperately.

So instead of feeling weighed down, lift your life up to Christ and ask him to come and be with you personally and help you get through life.

Ask him what he would like you to do with the life that he gave you instead of asking him to take that life from you. I know life is hard and painful but don't give up hope! God can take any circumstance no matter how hopeless it seems and make something truly incredible out of it.

Also, do not be impatient to change the world tomorrow on your schedule! Remember Moses spent 40 years as a shepherd in the desert before God started to use him to lead his people out of Egypt. Some times we have to go through boring, lonely places for God to create in us the character he needs to be able to use us the way he wants to on his timing!

Its your age, really. I felt that way too. I know you probably hate to hear it, but its true. Hormones, friends, life is staring you down, you getting older, and things are getting harder. Keep your head up, and look to the future, Someday you will look back, and what seems hard, and scary, and lonely now, will be merely moments in your life that you had to pass, learn from and grow through.

Keep the faith. Ive been where you are, felt like you felt, and now I know why. Someday you will too.

enjoy ur tender age...dont wish to mature fast...Jesus will lead you...be on fellowship with other christians and dont be an idle one...activities and outreach programs could be of help...
dont be hard on yourself, and dont ask God to take back your life, you have a mission to accmplish and you are still young...take it easy...breath and pray...He wont let you down...
