You cannot decompress pjg files. They are not like a ZIPPED file, they are compressed BEFORE they are saved, so there is no UNcompressed 'original' to decompress.
JPG is a graphic standard that is used to save graphics files, JPG is NOT a '3rd party' compression program like ZIP.

I'm not certain what you want to do exactly. But, I've used Winzip to decompress files. But, a jpeg or jpg file is already pretty compressed. That is why it is favored for web pages. There are freeware programs that will convert a jpg file into other file formats.
I hope this helps.

nicely in case you could provide me the report information then. i've got not got the code yet I do the compressing and decompressing if I had the code (THE CODE means how the report is arranged which bytes have the header, the rater information and the palette information). one way out of this could be via utilising bmp documents; agreed they are greater yet they are much less complicated to guard and that i will assist you to with that. exhibiting, becoming and enhancing bmp documents or maybe tga (targa real imaginative and prescient documents are plenty much less complicated) documents: i will help with headers on those documents
