Good points. Maybe God doesn't know as much as people say he does, if he has to do these tests of temptation. It's much the same as asking why doesn't God answer prayer, assuming that he knows your needs exist. How many people were praying that Hurricane Katrina would pass New Orleans? How many people were praying for a safe America before 9/11 happened? If God knows everything, then wouldn't one assume that he would care enough to see the future and to stop the damage before it occurred?

Well you really answered your on question when you said at the end things happen for a reason. At which they do because if it were not for somethings then we wouldn't know what good was or what a blessing was at all. If everyone was good and no one sinned then there would be no need for heaven or hell. When God made this world he wanted someone to love, and he knows all and he doesn't expect us to all be saints. So what I am trying to say is that God will and always give us another chance to do good or better. That is why He lets things happen, and everything happens for a reason. You should read The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren it explains a lot of your questions. I mean it really helps. HOPE U UNDERSTAND BETTER!!!

I can tell you're either too young to understand English, or any language at all, or you're all "bent out of shape" over some inability to believe that you are NOT God, so let me help you here. Number 1). To your great surprise, I'm sure, YOU ARE NOT GOD!! Number 2). Being knowledgeable of the future and controlling the future are not the same thing. If you look up in a dictionary (that's a big book with all the definitions of words), you'll find two different definitions for the two different words "knowledge" and "control". If you can't spell "dictionary", go ask someone how to do so, and most likely where one might be, and then, as it seems, you're going to have to have THEM look up the two words I've cited above, and read and explain the definitions to you. And then, most likely, you'd have to have them read my answer to you before you ever get started. Oh well. God Bless you. Yeah, even you.

God grew the tree.. and told Adam and Eve not to eat of it.. as a lesson in discipline, faith and obedience.. He didn't make her eat from it... she was deceived... free will starts there..
Why did he wait so long for the flood? Well everything HE does is in proper order.. who is to say it wasn't the right time?
The Child Molester thing is Free will.. he doesnt LET someone be that way.. he lets them choose... and they suffer judgement for their actions.
You don't like the answer of free will but it's what it is... if god arbitrarily stuck people down.. what would be the rating scale? Would he knock you off for stealing a pack of gum? God sees sin as sin.. it isn't rated.. but it is judged accordingly....

These things happen so they can then help others in the same situation. And to protect someone they will come across in the future. Everything does happen for a reason it is either a test of faith a lesson for the future. Or to make them stronger so they can deal with something far worse that is intended in the future. Best wishes nature

Your first two examples were parables...stories, however, the second was based in a historical event...
Your confusion to life here is that you are judging soul purpose...which is the Why? of which you are here to begin with. Each person on this planet is in reality a pure energy spirit, visiting this place for a time to fulfill it's desire to experience a part of itself...since most do not even understand their own purpose, it really doesn't seem possible that you may know another's...See?
We, as spirit, may wish to experience a part of being that we call forgiveness, or learn to overcome shame or fear, or understand self-worth...all of these can be accomplished through what you describe as molestation...at the sme time, if you ever possibly realize that the molestor himself is also of the same spirit essence, then you would also come to realize that there has to be angels who come to assist you in your spirit work here...that at Homebase, they love you soooo much, that they would come here with you, become soooo unlike their true selves & soooo dense of a being, that they would do whatever necessary for you to accomplish your goal(s). If in such a situation, and you donot come to see these things, then this poor spirit has become something that awful for nothing, and without you to remind him Who he is in reality, he will never remember, thus be lost in this lifetime...
These are reasons we are here, and an example of what we are being while here...it may be hard to see through the human side, but we truly are not here to be human...it is simply a tool to gain soul growth...and in true essence, rape is no more horrible than a willful lie...we put our own personal priorities on things based on mass consciousness, not what is true to spirit....think a little deeper about this & you will see what I mean...Love!

You are right, free will is a fallacy.
If god gives a child molester the free will to choose to molest or not, that takes away the free will of a child to choose not to get molested.
It's one big stupid lie.

God gave you a free will. He is not going make you do anything that you don't want to do. You can reject the Lord Jesus Christ or you can believe He died for your sins, you can believe or not. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Because God gave Eve the choice he didn't chose for her. The molester does this because he doesn't know the power of Christ and because he has made the choice to do as he does. I dunno all the answers i can just say that if you are a christian your faith is enough to let you know that everything happens for a reason.

These are reasons that lust and greed are considered sins. Prior to being greedy you have to have something...it's natural to want more hence your're greedy. It's nice to look at beautiful women or handsome men (I don't know your gender or preference so I am being politically correct). Just looking may induce sexual thoughts so hence lust is a sin. Self fulfilling prophecies are what most if not all sins are...The repression by religion of natural instinct. PEACE!
