All liquids are banned, even water that is purchased beyond the security checkpoint will not be allowed to be brought on board the aircraft. Check the TSA website for up to date restrictions, you can even have them email you if things change. This is for domestic US flights, international is a whole 'nother ball of wax.

Here's a link with answers to FAQ's about the new restrictions.

They only thing I have heard so far is all liquids.
From bottled water, toothpaste, hair gel, anything in a liquid type form. There are exceptions, Baby formula and liquid meds. but you still have to have them checked.
Sadly we live in a world now that things like this have got to be done for our safety.

Unlike what Cloothe said. there are a few exceptions to the liquids rule. IF you have a baby, they will allow breast milk, formula and juice to be brought along.
