Well what are you asking here - because being a QUIET guy is different from being a cold, aloof guy. I like guys who are on the quiet side. I don't want to date someone who is always the life of the party. Guys who are always the life of the party often have big egos, that need to be stroked by many women....know what i mean? I would prefer a guy who is secure with himself, and not antisocial, but also not a party animal.

On the other hand, why would you want to be with someone who showed no emotion? It is one thing if it takes a while for him to open up and show you that he actually cares about you - but if he NEVER shows any emotion for you, then why would you want to be with him? That's not fun, or good for a meaningful relationship.

I dont think quiet guys are that way because they could care less. I think they are scared to hell of opening up because they were really hurt in the past. Hence the could care less attitude. Nothing turns me off more than a quiet guy or one who shows no emotion. I could never be into someone who didn't seem into me.
