In a restraing order who gets to choose how far the person has to stay away from you? And if they have a divorce and you have children how do you get the children to the other person?

The judge decides distances. There are certain guidelines for the judge.

There should be some agreement in place regarding the handover of the kids. This is usually done by a neutral third party or at some agency dealing with child welfare.

In both cases, the Judge. A restraining order can be issiued, but when It is, a show casaue court date will be made too to see if it is a valad reason. And with kids, the judge goes with whats best, but if need be and it does help, exchange kids at the local police station parking lot. Trust me lots of people do it, only way to keep peice lol

if your situation is about domestic violence, you might have set to take your children to a place where someone fron social services will pick up your children in order for the father or mother be able to get time with them and return them back at the time that they suppost to be back home.

it is the judge who decides how far 2blocks most of the time and your place of worship and work and any other place you need.

the other quetion more difficult most always through friends and family.it makes it really hard for the child. i have been thru all of this get in touch for more info
