Biblical "prophesy" is weak sauce. It's vague and has no timeline. I often hear people try to "prove" the Bible by it's prophesy, and I think it's ridiculous. If you are gullible enough to have faith because of half-a** predictions, why don't you believe Miss Chleo? At least she can tell you specifically that "someone you know will make you think twice, soon" and narrow it down to at least the 80 or so years you are alive?

It's not pathetic. It's called faith.

Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean other people are wrong to believe it.

Do you actually know anything about prophecy or prophecy's that have been fortold? I don't think you do. As a matter of fact I don't think you know anything about the bible. If you did, you would have learned that all bible prophecy's have been carried through and more to come in the future.

Oh, by the way, Miss Chleo was sued for millions of dollars because she gave false information.

O religious ignoramus, every prophesy listed in the Bible came to pass, and only one more, concerning the end times, has to be fulfilled. Many prophesies were made a couple of hundred years before fulfillment. In any case, Christians don't hinge their faith on prophesies - they hinge their faith on Jesus. God Bless!

I have to agree with you.

if you look what I posted on that question I said that people have been predicting the end of days for 2,500 years.

the fact is people have been twisting biblical verses into prophesy for a long time.

for crying out loud who can read the passage about the 30 pieces if sliver in the OT and think that is a messianic prophecy

I'm christean too, and I agree that is not the better way to hinge your faith on prophesy beacuase that in my opinion is not love-based faith but it is fear-based faith miedo, people has to search for love-based faith because the other is just manipulation of the leaders of the differents religions

Apparently you have no real idea of any of the prophecies nor thier fulfilments. Maybe if you study what you dont understand instead of merely guessing, youd save us all the trouble of having to educate you.

What difference does it make to you?

Take it or leave it, who cares what you think anyway?

That's what is ridiculous, commenting on this type of thing that other people find comfort in. How are they hurting you? If you don't agree with them, ignore them.

Learn how to spell, and complete actually original thoughts that aren't retarded, and then you can repost. But for now, shut up.

I contend that we are both atheists. I just belive in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours. -- Stephen Roberts
