I think when you die, it’s like when you sleep with out dreaming.
Your ON/OFF switch is just off…..
Worms slowly eating your putrid organs … you slowly return to the dirt you came from and that is it! It’s over……………………..

No. This is it - not a dress rehearsal. We are a simple biological process that will end at some point. Then we'll go back to the star dust we came from. There's no spirit, nothing mysterious about it. These concepts were developed to give people some hope when their actual lives seem hopeless. There is far higher belief in god and an afterlife in under-developed and impoverished nations. With money comes understanding that these beliefs are mythological and unnecessary to the enjoyment of our one and only life.

I personally love talking about peoples beliefs in the afterlife (or not as the case may be) I sincerley believe that life is eternal, but if others don't believe that, or have a different opinion to mine, that's fine. We are all individuals with our own ideas, just wish some people would be more tolerant of that.

I am convinced there is life after death for one reason: Jesus Christ died and was placed in a tomb—and three days later came back to life.
Think about it a moment: What would it take to prove to us that there is life after death? The answer is clear: Someone would have to die, and then come back to life again. It wouldn't be enough for them to have a so-called "near-death" experience; their death would have to be real. And it wouldn't be enough for only one or two people to see them; it would require many witnesses.
But has this ever happened? Yes—when Jesus Christ rose from the grave! His death was real; hard-bitten Roman guards made sure He was dead before they took Him down from the cross. And His resurrection was real also, because hundreds saw Him during the next forty days. Paul, writing over 25 years later, noted that "he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living" (1 Corinthians 15:6).
How could this happen? It happened because Jesus Christ was not just another man. He was God's only Son, sent from heaven to save us from our sins. Only He could say, "I am the resurrection and the life. ... Whoever lives and believes in me will never die" (John 11:25-26). This can be your hope, by giving your life to Christ today.

i would have to agree with you babe, anyone who has their beliefs should keep it to themselves and people should mind their own business and not biatch about other beliefs.
I pray that there is an after life and often go into my own little world and think about what I would like to come back as.
I used to wish I would not come back as a woman but now I don't mind as if I come back as a woman I will come back but not make the same mistakes I have done.. [lol]

Yes, I also have my own beliefs in the afterlife. I got mine by going to a private religious school and by reading the Bible. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and only share them when asked by someone.

I don't really think it has anything to do with what one believes, but everything to do with the truth.
If our beliefs are different and we happen to agree, I don't see it happening. There will always be strife if we don't believe the same things. However, it is necessary that we believe different things - so as to expose those who believe a lie, because there are such. By the same token, we cannot be comfortable with people who believe something we don't believe. As far as we are concern, they are in darkness - and we cannot live them there, our consciences don't allow nor does our belief. In the same way, people believing something we don't believe cannot live us like that - 'cause as far as they are concerned we are in darkness.
Does this make any sense??????

Everyone has their own beliefs and opions about every single thing that comes their way throughout life....
And of course no one can change that opinion or belief.
It is something that makes each and everyone of us unique!
Keep on believing!

I completely agree with you and think that if everyone kept their beliefs to themselves, the world would be a much happier place!

nah, I love sharing my beliefs. But nobody's creative anymore. Everybody has the same beliefs these days... there's no fun in that! I just wish people didn't take it so seriously or force it on others... oh well.

Yes, I have my own beliefs in the afterlife but I do not think they conform to any religion.
