Hello Donna,
if you are REALLY sick of being fat, then you are already half way there. I would recommend a vegetarian diet, probably for the rest of your life. I have been vegetarian for eight years now, and have never felt healthier or had more energy, and I'm 59 now.
Eat lots of fruit, so that almost fills you. Also eat vegetables and nuts. Just vary your intake as much as possible, and you will find that your body will come up with ideas for anything it really needs.
Totally avoid sugar, artificial sweeteners, cokes, sodas and candies. A very occassional chocolate is ok. If you need to sweeten tea or coffee, then use stevia. Only use natural food, and preferably fresh, and organic. Most of the food that most people eat has such low nutritional value that they need to eat lots in order to feel comfortable. If you eat food with greater true nutritional value, then you consume less, and still have all the energy you need. If you need to really crash diet to get rid of the weight, then have nothing at all for a week, except fruit juice. Freshly squeezed fruit or vegatables, drunk within a few minutes of squeezing. If you have a juicer, then this is the best possible drink - freshly juiced organic fruit and vegetables.
Avoid frozen and tinned food. and food with preservatives or MSG.
This diet will not only cause you to lose weight, but is also a great assistance in preventing and curing cancer and many other diseases. I haven't visited a doctor for over 40 years.

Eat a healthy balanced diet. Do not go in for dieting as such. Starving yourself will just make you feel the need to eat more and you may give in.
Choose lower fat options and eat less snacks. Most importantly drink lots of water especially when you feel the need to snack.
Also just as important as a healthy diet you need to introduce more exercise into your routine gradually. Try getting off the bus a stop or two early or taking the stairs instead of the lift, or if you drive park further away from work. Go out for a walk in your lunch break etc.
Other things to try:
Slimfast shakes are good for breakfast and they fit in fine with a balanced diet, they taste nice and have plenty nutrients.
Go to the Gym or get an exercise DVD. I have Billy Blanks Tae Bo it is excellent.
If you have a PlayStation 2 try buying eye toy kinetic, it is great fun and helps you get more active.
Also you could try the BBC big challenge (link below) you fill in a questionnaire and they give you a six week plan with challenges,it is very good, loads of tips.

I wish the fat would melt away. It is my fault for not exercising.
I do not even look to say it all came from eating correctly.
Binge eating mostly. Give yourself time and do not look to a diet to help. Life is cruel, you love the food and the taste you can really separate all the ingredients and enjoy it. Some say eat before the doctor tells you that you cant have it. You go thought a fat period. I would like the South Beach to recommend ad that is the one I would like to see stomach melt away in 14 days.
Exercise is the main thing as metabolism comes up and stress comes up with bills deadlines and exams. Not a time for you to runaround and play. To get a Gazelle at home exerciser if possible. I would like to join Curves for the 30 min move around and Weight Watchers of course Medical Weight loss for the pills that eliminate fat in stool. I feel the pills are great but the side effects are not in fat burners or anything that works the heart to raise the blood pressure and causes your to feel bad consult a doctor.

this diet, for me, is easy. It sort of needs to become a way of life, rather than the "D" word. Start by drinking water off and on all day-sometimes that alone will at least prolong the time in between eating. Take some vitamin supplements-they help give you more energy and you may feel like walking or exercising in some way. Walking boosts metabolism, as does other exercises, and your muscle mass will increase, which also boosts metabolism. It's like a domino effect. The exercise also burns calories, and calories need to be taken into consideration. It's not necessarily how much you eat but what you eat. Stay away from empty carbs like processed foods (yes, including Mcdonald's and the like). If you like cheese, buy the 2%-it tastes good! Also, skim milk, high protein intake because protein will sustain you longer giving the energy you need to go for longer periods. Lots of fruit and veggies. Once you start seeing results, it will motivate you to do more and your self-esteem will compound, I promise. I have lost 25 pounds and I really do look great! One more thing, get to know the person inside and learn to love yourself. Getting in touch with what makes you overeat is important so it doesn't continue to happen. Fall in love with who you are and have faith in yourself. Be patient. then, fall in love with someone else because feeling sexy is another sure way to give you motivation! I hope that this helped. :-)

Start with a high protein rich with fruit and vegetables. Don't eliminate any of the four food groups just moderate the intake. Don't eat when your not hungry and only eat small portions. Exercise, exercise, exercise, I know that it's probably the last thing you want to do but it's the best thing you can do, energy makes energy, find something you like and stick with it! Lay off of the FATTY foods and sweets, hang in there it takes time and persistence.

*Exercise regularly
*You shouldn't starve yourself cuz you'll just go crazy and eat more than you were supposed to. Instead, eat small servings (by that I mean, if you're eating a chocolate bar, don't finish the whole thing, 2-3 squares @ the most) about 1-2 times a week.
*Drink lots of water (Lots of reasons:
-water keeps you alive
-is good for other beauty purposes like moisturising hair and cleansing face from within
-its a natural appetite suppressant)
*Cut down unnecessary snacks
*Opt for healthier alternatives like using pepper and spices instead of butter
*Eat healthy foods and snacks- remember, less fat doesn't always mean less calories and vice versa.
*Get a hobby
(this may seem unrelated but its true. You should get busy with something to distract you so that you won't be tempted by the food as much. A lot of people eat when they're bored and one of the best ways to keep your mind off food and hunger pangs is to keep your mind on something else)
*Continually change your routine
(start slow, then slowly work yourself up to a more and more intense routine. If you go hardcore on the first day, then you'll end up with a lot of injuries and you'll only lose weight on the first few days. Wanna know why? Because if you adjust yourself to the same routine everyday, your metabolism is going to catch up with you. It will adapt to the amount of calories you eat and the amount of calories you burn and adjust it, so that you don't use too much energy, and therefore, lose less weight as you go along. But if you keep changing your routine, then your body won't have time to catch up and it won't be able to adjust itself and you can burn the calories steadily.)
*Don't be discouraged
(If you don't get the results you want as fast as you expected, then don't give up! Keep working at it!!! Its not as easy to lose weight for some than others.)

ok, try starting easy. For the first couple of weeks, try and get 5 fruit and veg portions a day, drink 8 glasses of water, have no more than 2 sweet things a day (and try to make them low cal), do small exercises every day, like sit ups, or using a weight for arm exercises, and cut out bread and crisps. Good luck!

Rosemary Conley ive lost a stone in seven weeks, with weight watchers i couldnt do that.
Rosemary Conley is the UK’s leading diet and fitness expert with over 35 years’ experience of helping people lose weight and get fit.
In 1986 Rosemary discovered a low-fat diet plan, which transformed her body in a way she had never been able to achieve with previous diets.
Rosemary put her experiences down on paper and the result was her Hip and Thigh Diet, which was published in 1988 and captured the attention of the nation. This book and its sequel, Rosemary Conley’s Complete Hip and Thigh Diet, have sold more than two million copies.
Subsequent books and videos have seen similar spectacular success, despite being in such a highly competitive market place, with total worldwide sales fast approaching eight million.
In 1993, Rosemary and her husband and business partner, Mike Rimmington, launched Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs to give additional help, support and motivation to people following her diet and fitness programmes. The national network of clubs is a franchise operation, with 190 professionally qualified exercise teachers currently running more than 2,000 weekly classes across the UK for over 80,000 members.
Just two years after its launch, the British Franchise Association presented Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Clubs with its Newcomer of the Year Award and, in 1998, the organisation was presented with the national BFA/Midland Bank Award. In 2002 and 2005, it won the coveted BFA Franchisor of the Year Award.
In 1996, the Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness magazine was launched. This award-winning publication has more than half a million readers and became market leader in its sector after just three issues. The magazine contains celebrity interviews, diet and exercise plans, expert columnists and the Fat File, a unique sliding scale guide to the fat and calorie content of food.
From 1996 to 2000 Rosemary was a consultant to Marks & Spencer and helped them to develop their low fat, calorie-controlled food range.
Rosemary has presented her own TV Series on BBC and ITV as well as appearing on ‘This Morning’ with Richard and Judy for seven years. She continues to have a high media profile with many regular appearances on national television.

Well, this question im happy to answer. I used to weigh 24 stone (dont know the international equivelent). Obviously looking at my picture you can see im no longer that big. To get rid of the excess weight i did the following:-
1. CUT DOWN, DONT CUT OUT! Foods such as chocolate, fried foods and sugary snacks. Most diets will tell you to not have them at all. WRONG! just cut down on them. If you try to have none at all, you will end up bingeing on them, and your weight will soar. Ifg you gradually cut down over the months, you will get better! for example. If you eat one bar of chocolate per day, why not try in your first week, eating one bar every alternate day, and then one every two days and so on.
2. EAT THE FOODS YOU LIKE TO EAT! Again, most diets will tell you "dont eat this and that" WRONG! i lost 12 stone, so i know what im talking about! Eat the foods you like to eat, even if they are pizzas and fast food. However, go for the smaller option. I used to eat a full family sized pizza to myself every day as a snack! Try eating smaller "snack size" foods. "MINI" pizzas are a perfect example. Instead of a huge pizza, have a smaller one with some side salad to bulk it up. Eat the foods you want, but in a smaller size!
3. DONT EVER EXPECT RESULTS OVERNIGHT! I thought that i would notice results. Look at my picture! do i look like i weigh 24 tone? I have been told not, yet i still think i do. You personally wont notice a difference due to the way you feel about yourself as a person. L:osing weight takes a long time, and losing the belief that you are fat takes even longer. Trust me, i know. It has been 1 year since i went from weighing 24 stone, down to 12 stone, and i still see myself as weighing a rediculous amount. You might not notice a difference, but friends and family will. Listen to them, they are your biggest resource.
4. STICK TO IT ABOVE ALL THINGS! I know myself that it is hard to stick to a diet, hell, i have been there myself. It wont be easy, you wont get results overnight, and you will have months, if not yers of hard work ahead of you. If you are determined to lose the weight, keep at it and ignore everyone that says you will fail. If i can do it, so can you!
Anyway, the above is from my own experience. I can give you mre help if you want it. Im with yahoo so obviously contact me if you want more help. As someone who has been in your position, i do empathise with you. I want to help you.
