thats the only kind of flour I use when making corn bread. It will turn out fine. Just need a little to make the bread hold together anyways.

Never heard of self rising corn meal, but combining that with self rising flour is going to give you a sodium overload and possible overflow of your baking pan! You can substitute self rising flour for all purpose flour, but make sure you don't add any baking powder or baking soda to the recipe. Or any additional salt, either.
Haven't made corn bread for ages, but it sounds yummy. Maybe we'll have some too.... tnx ;-)

Yes, but make sure to omit the baking powder or baking soda from the recipe. Self-rising meal already contains one or the other. Otherwise, your bread will rise too much and the results will not be good.

If you are using self rising cornmeal, then you don't need the self rising flour. It will be too much leavening.

If you where using regular cornmeal, I'd say go for it, but since you are using self-rising cornmeal I would not do it. That may be way too much baking soda and salt.
