There's the Storm Defender, but it's a cape not a collar. It works by stopping your dog from feeling the electricity in the air, which is part of what freaks your pup out so much. This is why a lot of dogs will hide in bathtubs during storms (the tub discharges the static).
There are also a number of pressure blankets. These are basically shirts for your dog that are made too tight. The idea is that dogs feel safe and protect when they're swaddled, just like babies do.
I know of no "collar" though.

Collar??? What about trying desensitization? Especially if you have thunderstorms quite a lot. Desensitization is a process by which the animal is gradually able to overcome its fear, or is "desensitized" to the fearful stimulus. The training involves exposing the dog, at first, to very low levels of the stimulus (or in this case, playing sounds of thunder which are barely audible) such that the sound does not evoke a fear response. Once you are confident that the dog is no longer showing any signs of anxiety or distress at the low level of stimulus you can begin to increase the intensity of the sound or frightening stimulus. Again you would stop at each level prior to evoking a strong fearful response. This technique may involve playing sound tapes of thunder in a dark room to help simulate thunder storm conditions. The training may take several weeks and should cover a time period in which the possibility of a real thunder storm is unlikely to occur. A real thunder storm can cause a relapse in fearfulness if the training is not completed.
Counterconditioning is a method of changing a dog's response to a certain stimulus by associating a reward for the new response. For example, when your dog stays calm during the first playing of the thunderstorm audiotape, give it a reward (cheese, pieces of hot dog). For each successive calm response, give a reward so that the dog associates thunderstorms as non-threatening and exhibits calm behaviour. This method, when coupled with the desentization program, has a long lasting affect because the dog has learnt that thunder is not associated with fear but with being calm and relaxed. It is extremely important NOT to reward fearful behaviour nor should you punish fearful behaviour. Tapes,CD's are available

I haven't heard of a collar being used but we have that problem with my 17 year old dog. He has had that problem since he was about a year old. I use a small sedative called acepromazine and as he got older I give him benadryl instead----it does almost the same effect he gets drowsy and sleepy and doesn't hear or care about the thunder. Ask ur vet about either one. It definitely helps and there is no need for him to be scared anymore because there r so many drugs out there that can help him. Good Luck and hope I helped.

Sorry - don't know the name of the collar, actually never even heard of a collar like that.
What does help our dog is to put the kennel in the lowest part of the house, then kennel the dog.
Being in the basement seems to help a lot.
If it gets really bad, the vet can give you a doggie version of Valium, we did have a shepherd that was soooooo bad we had to give her that.

I've never heard of one, and couldn't find a collar online.
There are products out there. Comfort Zone makes a spray. It uses pheromones. There is also an anxiety wrap. I am sure my dog would be more scared of the wrap!

I don't know the name of the collar, but I do know that there are homeopathic remedies for dog calming. If you go to www.jefferspet.com you should be able to find something that fits your dogs needs. I hope this helps.

I've never heard of the collar but my dogs started out being really scared of the thunder. I just set them in my lap and rub their stomachs or just pet on them and talk to them, not in an overly excited voice but just soothing. You don't want to add to their nervousness. Hope this helps. Oh yeah and if they respond well to the tummy rubs and the sweet talk, give him a treat or two!
