She's 18, she's an adult. Doesn't matter what she's into. If you don't want her in your house any more, then tell her. Hopefully, she's mature enough & responsible enough to support herself.

If she's using and refuses to get help, kick her bootie out! I've got an 18 YO stepdaughter and you can bet if she was doing anything illegal she wouldn't be in my home!
She's of legal age, so you aren't endangering a minor or anything!

Yes she is 18 years old so legally speaking yes you can kick her out.
Now you might want to think about what kicking out your stepdaughter might do to your relationship with your wife (her mom). This could cause some fighting and a possible breakdown of your marriage. I suggest talking to your wife about what to do with your stepdaughter.

Oh my yes, but do it in conjunction with her mother (I'm assuming she's agreeable with this too). Let her know it's because of her drug use and be expecting things to get worse before getting better. Unfortunately this may have to happen before she snaps.

Yes you can, but...you need to speak with her mother on how to approach and handle the situation. If you step-daughter is willing to get her sh*t together and straighten up, then maybe you should give her a chance and help her out.

yes she is of legal age, and she is using drugs then by all means i think it would be in your best intrest if you did tell her to leave. then again you have to consider how your wife would feel about it. would she be upset with you if you did?

yes but are you sure that is what you want, it might be better to let her stay under the condition that she goes to rehab. that way you can watch her while she is in rehab so she does not relapse. on the other hand if she does not want to go to rehab, kick her to the curb.
