HEY, there IS such a thing as Christian Wicca. I considered it for a little while. Do an internet search on it. You can believe in God, and even Jesus above all others, and still practice the loving accepting part of Wicca, even the spells. Look it up, it may interest you. And ignore all the hard cores who think your silly. Its an intersting take on the whole thing.

Why would a Christian wish to be guided by the Old Testament?
Galations 3:24,25 says the OT was just an arrow pointing to what Jesus would establish.
Colossians 2:14 indicates as well, that when Jesus came along, the OT was not to be the basis anymore.
The OT may still give a few insights, it has some limited value, however, we worship according to the way taught by Jesus, don't we?

Bobby,
If you want to put yourself in the bondage of the Law of Moses go right ahead. As far as I know, you will have troouble locating a temple built just so and a preist that will make the sacrifices for you. I hope you have a good supply of Bullocks and goats, Passover will require a lamb to live in your house for two weeks(I think it is) before you slaughter it and put the blood on the door posts, etc.

It's not too smart to do what you are talking about.

If you worship Jesus, continue to do that. He lived the Law perfectly so that we don't have to. He wanted faith anyway.

I really can't believe that you are serious!

613 Laws.

The 7th Day Adventist studies and lives allots by the Old Testament. But when Christ died for us He made everything a new. We are to live by the New Testament because Jesus is good enough and we are saved through only Him. But we learn allots from the Old Testament to help understand the whole truth.

If you want to be a Christian you need to worship Christ and only him. It says in the bible that you should not mess with that kind of stuff.

I am not sure about the whole wicca thing, I am rather thinking that is not so wise, but again I don't know so, I can't judge! Your best bet is to continue to worship Christ and God. See, you can't go wrong there!

That's sortof an oxymoron. Christians living by the OT? Of course, there's an uncountable array of ways to practice whatever interpretation may suit one of the Bible. Whew! Volumes of pros and cons would not suffice to go into it. Good luck.

silly boy, you know darn well that if you say "Christians Only" that we are ALL gonna come in here to look...LOL

A spiritual crisis is never easy. Don't be afraid to explore and question your beliefs. That is the only way you'll ever grow/learn/ and strengthem your faith.

I did a lot of praying at the outset of my own spiritual journey and I feel it has all been for the best.

Hang in there, you can do it!

I know plenty of people that still believe in certain parts of the Old Testament like speaking in tongues, but Christianity is about CHRIST and what he did for us. Where would we be if we didn't have that New Testament?
