ISLAM Some people say they are religious when they are not. But people who really be live in God start right where you are: asking questions and seeking the truth. To believe in God, you can't depend on others to teach you, it is a self search. I became religious through prayer, question, and studying the Quran and Bible. When you're guided you have this peaceful feeling and all you want to do is good and please God. There are so many levels of peace that you will continue growing until you're a great human being.
Read the Quran, the answers you are searching for will find you.
No, God is not a guy in the sky, he is greater than we can comprehend. He is not matter or energy, he created those things. He also created are senses, and everything in the heavens and the earth. It takes hard work, but it is also easy. You will feel fed. Try Islam. People tell lies about it just like people lied and hated Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Lot, Yunus, David and so on. Read the Holy Quran, it is clear, you will know what I mean. On your way...

I was raised as a Christian. On the way through high school, college, and my early married life I began to doubt religion in general. But it is weird how every time I go back to church I began to cry uncontrollably, and I'm not usually that emotional. I did some research of the Bible and studied on Bibleevidence.com and it helped me to believe in my religion. Also, looking around at nature and humans in general and the universe, its very hard to believe it all created itself.

Religion relies on faith not fact. You have to abandon all data and just believe something you cant possibly know. I can't do it myslef. I find it humerous how when a religious person hears voices it's God, but when a guy on the streets is hearing voices he's just crazy.

Religion began when I was baptized and my parents sent me to a private religious school. I was taught by nuns who used the Bible and the Ten Commandments to teach us to love, have hope and faith in God. When I pray very reverently and really need his help, he never gives me more that what I can handle. He has always been there for me. Just read the Bible or ask someone like a minister or priest to explain it to you.

Family is where it started for me. I was raised Catholic and stayed in the church until I was 19 at which time I embarked on my own spiritual journey.

I see myself as a very blessed person, regardless of the fact that I do not align myself with any formal organized religion. I love knowing that there is someone bigger than me who has my back!

I read about Bible prophecy and knew that there was NO WAY a mortal man could have made all the predictions that we see coming true in our day--it had to be God. Since I believed prophecy was true, then I had to also believe the whole bible was true, which I do.

I know god through his creation> I see god in a baby's warm eyes> I hear god when someone says "I love you". God's "fingerprints" are all around us, from beautiful sunsets, to fields of flowers....The Bible is also a big part, 27% prophetic, contains over 8000 prophecies, Man cannot prophecize, but GOD inspired them to>

I observed the good that the gospel did in others' lives. I studied it and prayed about it and received an undeniable answer from God. Faith does require effort and sincerity.

God changed me, the day He saved my soul. He gave me the desire to serve Him. I want to tell others how much Jesus loves them, and Jesus saves. My Mother has always been a Godly woman. She taught me right, and never gave up on praying for me. My Dad just recently got saved. I now rejoice.
