be more specific, tell me about guys that [ are not] intelligent! What! You need; a scientist because you,re a robot and you need him to put you together or what? I don,t have a college degree,but I,m smart enough for love!

Not scientest intelligent, just smart and bright, you dont have to have a degree or Gcse's to be smart. nobody wants a dumb boyfriend

I was in a relationship with a man for almost 7 years (and I am almost 21) and he was far from intelligent.. I thought we could love each other regardless of the fact that my IQ is 144 and his is somewhere around.. maybe 100? lol

But it just didn't work out. First of all, to be honest with you, I would win arguments that I know I shouldn't have. I just knew how to talk.. I knew how to spin things. I knew how to get my way. It wasn't fair. Also, he felt belittled all the time, even when I didn't mean to make him feel that way. He always felt like he wasn't good enough, no matter how much I tried to tell him otherwise. I guess if he had a different attitude, it might have been different. But it is something you have to think about before you get involved with someone. Do you think you could handle being smarter? Or being the one who isn't as bright? Can you just appreciate a person for who they are? When things like finances and budgetting come up in a relationship, it can get a little harder than you think.

Nothing turns me on more than a guy who's smarter than me. Now, if all women feel that way, that leaves the field pretty open for most guys. Not all women do feel that way. But for me, intelligence is #1 on the list.

I don't have a degree, either, but *education* isn't necessarily the same as intelligence, though only intelligent people would have an education that would impress me.

Still, a guy who could snuggle up with me at night and teach me something about astrophysics or quantum mechanics or mutations in viruses would have my heart. I've actually thought of moving to Los Almos to meet a guy, where I've been told, "The odds are good, but the goods are odd."

I like odd! (I had a boyfriend many years ago who actually had adhesive tape holding his black-rimmed glasses together. )

Smart and Intelligent would be awesome. Definitely no scientist someone that is smart, and knows how to treat a women, and intelligent to hold a job long enough and not live under their parents roof

What happened? You dropped out of college or high school? You need to get your grammer together before you can meet a guy who is smart or intelligent. If you don't get it together you are not going to meet anybody at all, except a dummy.

See you have it all wrong - you can be very smart - but just don't have the piece of paper saying you got an education. I think some of the dumbest people are those that are supposedly educated. I think I prefer people who are life smart not book smart.

It helps to be more intelligent. If you can't put together a complete sentence without using the right words it makes for difficult conversation and nobody knows what you're talking about, or they know what you're talking about but it's not what you're talking about.

Most of the guys that are not smart cant have a good conversation. Trust me, girls prefere smart people.

I've been with a lawyer, I've been with a Doctor, and even a high-roller. All of them had more money than I could ever dream of. BUT, I'm not with either of the 3, in fact I am with someone that makes significantly less than they did. Money is something, but it isn't everything.
