I am really surprised. Here I have been living in China for five years and have eaten in every kind of restaurant imaginable, and have yet to see any duck sauce. You go to the supermarkets; still no duck sauce. You know, maybe only Americans living in the Continental USA eat that duck sauce.

I don't eat the little packets, but I eat the "duck sauce" that comes inside them.

I don't. I only eat real chinese food that doesn't require sauce in a packet.

because you visit downmarket chinese language eating places. What they serve up is processed hen. there are various grades of hen on sale at wholesale butchers, commencing from chickens that ran around a field, to processed hen that's extracted from broiler hen carcases then moulded into hen products. The stuff has various components and in lots of cases added water and flavourings. It has a slimy texture. the excellent things is made out of, properly.. hen. attempt a outstanding chinese language eating place next time.

Other restaurants in Hong Kong package it as FRuit Sauce, so maybe it is mor epopular that way. The sauce is just ground peaches
