don't worry you will not be punished because there is no god, take it from me I was born an atheist and still am . That means I was only born once, my parents didn't make a mistake and they allowed me to make up my own mind on that question,I don't wanna hear this elementry butt puke about being to young to decide for so called myself. From the stuff I've been reading from some of these so called bible pumping christians with child like answers it is a wonder that we as a people have gotten this far. god is joke and jesus the puch line. Why would an all powerful god need morons like most of you out there to prop him up. I tell ya what if iwas god I'd be ashamed of what most of you come with and show your spineless stupidity,my god where did we go wrong. For one thing if god was so great and wise and had this super ability to have a kid by emaculite ejacculation, why didn't he just create another son, secondly jesus was god's abortion and if god took jesus to heaven to be with him,why was it so bad. The bible is full of so much sh- - t that one would need pupper scooper in church. Maybe thats what the term means holyshit. Don't no one will punish you for being a free thinker. Dought is the mother of knowledge and searching for truths is the father of inteligents, which most xristians lack. They think all the answers are in a book written by men for men to control men and look it works.Go to church on Sunday and kill for pay on Monday.Xristians are the worst breed of hypocrites on this eath. Those that think they know everything. KNOW nothing, and from what I've been reading I think it is proof enough there is no god ,because if there was he would made a cadillac not a volkswagan. Just the term born again implies that your god made a mistake the first time.If there was this creatur god no one would have to go around and try to prove its exsitence, would they

If you don't believe in God then why should you be afraid of being punished by him? And if you do believe there is a God then your not an atheist. Doesn't make a difference to me, but you asked.

First off. Interesting Question!! LOL

Seriously,

The God of the Bible claims to be perfectly just. We know that God won't punish you for what you don't know, but not knowing is different from not believing.

Even if you lived in some remote country where the name of Jesus isn't known, God tells us "by His works we will know Him"

In other words to look at creation and reduce it to some a accidental thing is a complete slap in the face of God.

All that said, God still isn't punishing you. God loves every one of us so much that He has completely forgiven anything we've done wrong or will do in the future.

The real question is "Are you going to CHOOSE not to accept the love and forgiveness of God and join the rest of us "sinners" in Heaven?

If you do not believe in God or want to worship Him then Heaven will be Hell for you, so God in his mercy will make you exist no more, no more pain nothing, because there is only one God in the universe and there is no other choice he is life so if you don't choose Him he can't do anything else.

The wages of sin is death. But God, who alone is immortal, will grant eternal life to His redeemed. Until that day death is an unconscious state for all people. When Christ, who is our life, appears, the resurrected righteous and the living righteous will be glorified and caught up to meet their Lord. The second resurrection, the resurrection of the unrighteous, will take place a thousand years later. (Rom. 6:23; 1 Tim. 6:15, 16; Eccl. 9:5, 6; Ps. 146:3, 4; John 11:11-14; Col. 3:4; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:13-17; John 5:28, 29; Rev. 20:1-10.)

If you're an atheist, why would you be worried about such a thing?

But to answer your question, the fact that you're at all concerned about this issue shows that you have reservations about not believing in God, so I'd say no, you won't be punished.

No, because as an athiest, you do NOT believe in God and you do not believe in Hell, unless you are a devil worshipper. You cannot believe in any kind of worship, even the devil if you are an athiest. You cannot worship yourself, unless you believe you are God and again, you do NOT believe in God. Why, then, do you even mention God, if you do not believe He exists? Of course God WILL PUNISH YOU unless your name is written in the Book of Life BEFORE you meet God. If it is written there, God will not punish you and you will live forever in Heaven. God is a spirit and the believers live by faith--We do not need physical proof of God's existence. We hear His words, we see His works, we smell His flowers, we feel His love.

Over the years, I've met many leading scientists and other intellectuals who not only believed in God, but told me they had concluded it was far more logical to believe in God than to disbelieve in Him.

Why did they come to this conclusion? One reason, I discovered, was because they had an open mind, and were willing to examine the evidence for God and weigh it carefully and honestly. Can you say that about yourself—or is your mind closed, because you aren't willing to change it? Only you can answer this, of course—but I challenge you to be honest with yourself, and be open to the possibility that God does exist.

But many of those men and women came to believe in God for another reason: They examined the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and came to put their faith and trust in Him. You see, Jesus made the most startling claim imaginable: He claimed to be God in human flesh. He boldly declared, "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).

Was His claim true? Yes—and the reason is because Jesus did something no one else had ever done, or ever will do: He died and three days later came back to life. Do you want to know what God is like? Look at Jesus Christ—and when you do, you won't only discover that God exists, but that He loves you and wants you to be part of His family forever.

I would say he would. One day you will bow down and he will tell you the sins you have committed. As I recall an atheist is a non-believer. An agnostic is up in the air as they don't know what to believe. You being a non believer, and denying Christ as your savior, You are history. Have you every thought of eternity. I can't comprehend infinity. And scientist say this is only one universe.
Do I believe there is something out there? Yes I do. But one thing for sure one day we will find out, or to say what my jewish friend says. " When you die, you have just come, and gone....

If you remain an atheist until you take your last breath and refuse to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You will punish yourself by refusing what God has offered you and you will send yourself to hell. That will be your choice not God's. God doesn't want to see anyone go to hell. He loves you.
