Adolf Hitler wasn't really a true Christian and one of the reasons he killed Jews was because of a bit of FALSE Christian mythology (ie that Jews killed Jesus)
And nobody blames Christians because of Hitler...
BUT WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT OSAMA BIN LADEN IS A TRUE MUSLIM...AND WHAT HE IS DOING IS ACTUALLING INLINE WITH ISLAM?
The Koran forbids killing innocent people. Why do (some) people blame ALL Muslims and Islam for crimes of Bin Laden?
I was wondering how many will read the ALL details of this questian before answering?

Just to make clear the Koran says that killing anybody is wrong..
And Bin Laden will go to hell because of his crimes.
And I as a Muslim openly comdemn Bin Laden. And like Christians and Jews, and very much respect the teachings of their religion.

no, christians should not be "banned". they are no more responsible for hitler then the jews were for jesus's death, or all muslims for bin laden. bin laden is not the norm which is what many americans forget. think about how many islamic US citizen there are supporting our beliefs daily. i think it's a shame that people are so narrow minded as to not see that (or see the rest of your question)

First Adolf Hitler was not Christian to begin with, his was a Roman Catholic and he just followed the indoctrination that was put into his head as a child about the Jews told buy the Catholic Church and did his best to fulfill the the long history of the Holy Church. Remember what happened 1097 after the church have started the Crusade. Jews were murdered in Trier and many other towns in Germany and that continued and continued. Still in Bayern one can still hear neo-Nazi talks nearby the church. This ideology is certainly not Christian, it is a Catholic way if thinking. Are there reasons behind? Yes there are but it goes too far here. The Pope was a Hitler Jugent and from the master race

I have read your question and a lot of the answers which are just quick to jump on the bandwagon that all Muslims are bad because of one nut job (Osama Bin Laden) or that you're talking crap because they have nothing enlightening to say. Whether Hitler was a Roman Catholic or Christian they still follow similar paths so it shouldn't make much difference and some people are just nitpicking. But I do see what you are saying.
I think it's a case of no matter what religion, race or social group you belong to if someone in that group commits some sort of atrocity everybody in that group is tarred with the same brush. Just like in the past everyone assumed that all Germans in the 1930s and 40s were Nazi's when in fact not all were.
No one should say one particular religion should banned or one particular religion is responsible for all wars. Truth is they all are because of groups of fanaticists. The only way out of today's situation is to just ban religion all together because humans simply can not be trusted with it.

If there were absolutely no religions at all anywhere in the world humans would still find reasons to kill other humans, because that is the nature of human beings. Blaming one religion or another only gives an excuse for the continuing violence which is usually based on greed, envy, hatred , ignorance and intolerance being used to increase the power base of the belligerents. Banning a political party or religion just sends that organisation 'underground' and makes heroes of its partisans, increasing its following and power base, so no, I do not think it is a good idea to ban Christianity or any other faith but rather work to a better understanding and tolerance of those who are different.

osama isnt a true muslim fi the qu'ran/koran (ive seen bothe spellings, not sure which is right) prohibits murderig innocent people and that is what he is doing how is he any diff from hitler? they were/are both extremists, bent towards there actions more racially/ethnically/ rather than a belief...bin laden hates america, hitler hated Gods belssed nation (all jews)... it isnt christianity nor is it islam that should be feared it is dangerous extremists who refuse to pay attention to certain parts of there cultures teachings causing them to believe they should murder an innocent person
however i must say one thing...i was always lead to believe that hitler was an atheist...

Actually, Hitler didn't like Christianity too much. He said "You cannot be both a Christian and a German"
The Nazis believed Christianity was nothing more than an extension of Judaism and had to be removed from Europe. He had his propaganda ministry re-write the bible to remove all references of the Divine promises to Israel and all references to Divine Mercy.
More to the point, Hitler's hostility to the Jews had nothing to do with the alleged crucifixion of Jesus, Hitler described his reasons in Mien Kampf as "The Jews have brought the life-denying dogma of the Ten Commandments into the world. They impose a terrible responsibility on man that few have the strength to bear. Providence has ordained me to liberate mankind from this Jewish burden"
Seems to me that Hitler hated the Jews because he hated G-d and saw the Jews as G-d's agents in the world. He manipulated Christians with their own texts and it is true, he had fertile ground of anti-Semitism in Europe to draw on. But the 'Christian' support of the Holocaust came mainly from the Catholic Church and it's virulently anti-Semitic pope, Pius XII. Hitler, however, was driven by his own racial fantasies.

The Koran forbids killing innocent people. this was a statement that you made but i think Muslims should kill NO ONE under any circumstances. how can a religion condon such teaching of killing only people that do harm to you. when teachings is involve like that in the community you cant go without killing innocent people.
p.s. so since osoma bin laden killed innocent people;does that mean him and his helpers went to hell?

Hitler was NOT of The Christian Faith... he did however pervert some of the obscure writings of Luther... Luther was an anti semite.. but from his wrtings I do not think he would have supported the likes of Hitler... He did after all defy the pope's abuses
ALL of the true leadership of islam support osama and all the rest of the likes of hammas et al....islam is the greatest evil facing the world today

Obviously Bin Laden is a horrible Muslim. Having studied a little islam, I can confidently say that it's just as peaceful when practiced correctly as Chritianity or any other major religion.
To your hyopthetical opening question: It wouldn't be the first time.

actually adolf hitler was a strong believer in evolution.
I see Osama as a true islam. Because in his believe he does not kill inocent ppl. He kills ppl opposing allah or allahs teachings. So in an islamitic way he is a true islam for standing up for allah. Israel took sacred land of muslims. The temple doom for example. Its under israelian supervision. According to the islam that land belongs to allah. allah cant get it back himself (unlike God profisied in the bible that the jews would return there... he was able to keep that promise) So osama sees it as his islamic duty to help allah out. That is very "koranic" of him.
I think in his view the twin towers for example where symbols of money and corruption. So the ppl living and working there deserved to die. You and I might not agree on that. But he sees it like that.
