Why is it that people like to yell and cuse at people on the interstate if they arent going over the speed limit. I am (or try to be) a safe driver. I go the speed limit, and not over it. I get people mouthing at me through their windows and flipping me off. Some have kids in the car and are driving way over the speed limit. Anyone else have to deal with this, or anyone out there who is one of those flipping people off, and why do you act that way?

Dont you people speeding understand that the fast lane doesnt mean you can break the speed limit? I means that anyone not going the speed limit, is to be in the slow lane. If we are going 70 mph and that is what the speed limit is, we have every right to be in the fast lane.

Just stay to the right. Speeders usually use the left lanes
so the righmost lane is best for speed limit drivers Avoid cars from NJ and NY they are used to passing on the left and get irritated when slow pokes are on the left lane.

well if you are in the slow lane (which would be the far right lane) then no one should yell at you however if you are in the fast lane where people have to pass you on the right then you are in the wrong lane and you need to get out of the way and let people go past you see i do not feel sympathetic to you because i am that person that will yell at you for driving to slowly

I experience that all the time. I think people think they are invincible in their cars. I can never get over the ones who have children in their cars and are going 85mph. I don't understand that. What's worse is that they are going to pass on the same behavior to their children and so the cycle never ends. I myself try to be careful and usually go no more than 5mph over the speed limit at times. I've never been pulled over, gotten a ticket, or been in an accident and I take pride in that. I will not allow someone else's impatience to put my safety in jeopardy.

No, I don't because I love to speed. I know it's bad but..I love driving fast and I love racing! I watch each F1 race during the season.
Don't get me wrong. If I come upon someone that is going slower than I am, I can understand that they are being careful or perhaps they are brand new drivers, and I'll just get on the other lane and pass them. No worries.

When I was learning how to drive ( I still do not have my license ) I always drove the speed limit. I was always so nervous about people honking at me and everything. I am not a speed demon. I had my daughter in the car and i am not going to risk her life.

There's nothing wrong with driving the speed limit if you are in the appropriate lane.
Nobody should ever have to pass you on the right.

make sure you're in the correct lane. i swear in front of my son all the time because i don't see anything wrong with using that type of language. he knows when it's socially acceptable to speak that way & when it is not, so if someone cuts me off in traffic or something & i swear, it's not a big deal if my son is in the car with me. i mean, when he's old enough to drive, i'm sure he'll be talking that way all the time, so it won't matter much if i try to "protect" him from it now.

not very often, but when someone cuts me off short and I have to slam on my brakes and get slamed into from the car behind me and the jerk who cut me off goes hell bent for leather on down the highway, well a person get irate about stuff like that and I don't like it and if someone does it to me then yeah i have been known to get up beside them and honk and when they look flip the finger at them and if they would stop I would also and the fight would be on. I can't help it, it just make me furious when people are so uncaring if they cause someone else problems.
