Well, since most people do celebrate the Christian holidays whether or not they are Christian, obviously you can too. However, you cannot be a Christian without worshipping Jesus as the Son Of God.
That is exactly what a Christian is & does.

Oh, we have only one God and the one who you do not want to worship is His Son...whom all the power/authority on earth and heaven has been given...so u will never ever be called a Christian unless you believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior...
you're right when u said, its wrong....God bless

christianity is jesus... he died for our sins so we worship him...saying that you want to be christian but follow jesus wouldnt make since... however if you want to celebrate the holidays go ahead.. for the most part they have been commercialized any way...atheists even celebrate them but consider them "family holidays" it is wrong and shouldnt be taken so lightly but no one comes across easter and christmas any more and automatically thins jesus... they think santa and the easter bunny.... it is sad that made up fictional characters have become center stage and pushed our savior to the back of our minds

I hate people who say that there's only one true light. I'm Christian. I believe in God and Jesus. This doesn't mean you have to.
You can do whatever floats your boat. It's your beliefs. You're not going to offend anyone if you don't believe in Christ and celebrate Christmas. It's your faith.
Don't let anyone tell you that you'll go to hell. That's actually very, very unChristian.

why are you wanting to "take on" a chrisitan religon if you aren't wiling to worship God (christians only worship one true god) or celebrate our holidays?? If its curisosity to see what we are all about then I pray for you that God works in your heart to see what he is about and loves you etc...
I do make a STRONG suggestion thou.... Rather then going to a specific denomination I would go to a NONDENOMINATION church.... They are generally more relaxed then a denomination church and more willing to help people that have quetions and less judgemental then a specific denomination...
I pray that you find what you are looking for....
and like other people have suggested, read the bible....new testment....

Hey Bobby,
No, you can't "take on" the Christian religion if you don't want to be a "Christ Follower". That's what Christian means.

dude of you don't believe in Christ/God then why do you wanna have our holidays? Yea we do Christmas presents but do you know what Christmas is really about, or Easter? If you practice our holidays then you have to know what they are about for REAL and if you don't believe in God/Christ then why celebrate them?

You can do what ever you want.....nobody is going to arrest you for celebrating Christmas just because you don't believe in Jesus.....but I do want to tell you that we only have one God, he just has several names (Christ, Jesus, Jehovah....)
