As salamun alaikum.Because THE GOD called and I simply answered.I am 23 now and converted when I was 19.ALLAH is true and I am not done with learning what I need to know.I am a hanif-muslim.But I follow the truth granted to me alone.I was at first an atheist.Thinking science was the answers to life.Well, at least that is what I thought I was. Then allah came as clear as day.And I can tell you how I saw HIM/SHE/IT.HE looked like HIS word with no form but a true being.Like HE is capable to do as HE alone wills. Then after HE came and led me to islam I found out I was agnostic all this time and not atheist. And I am 100% sure it was allah.Because one day I was talking to the prophet muhammad(pbuh) and my neighbor who is muslim stopped by.And I know the only reason he came by was because he is a friend of muhammad(pbuh). He has not been my nieghbor for years and when he stopped by, I knew why he did.I took this as an ayat.He was actually the one who explained to me the difference between atheist and agnostic. So I follow the heaven of musa(pbuh) who is my personal friend and who I have defined as the deep thinker.I follow the heaven of abraham(pbuh) who I consider my father for allah has promised him his sons shall be many as the stars in the heavens. And that is many. And I have no father.Never have.I believe in the prophet muhammad(pbuh) and la ilaha ilallah. The proofs that come along with following the prophet muhammad(pbuh) can not be denied.Well, at least not by me.I converse with the men of the mighty heavens on the daily. And they do not have to be of the seven strong. That is my reason. They are my kin by the grace of allah. And I wait to meet them in the hereafter where I may "BE" and enjoy the good pleasures of allah for all eternity. The life indeed.Islam is my LOVE and PEACE."Verily in the remembrance of allah do hearts find rest".BYE LOVE!

Muslims are either born or converted to Islam. Those who are converted do so after meticulous search and deep thinking and great suffering from their families and friends but they have the highest degree of happiness and satisfaction. Some of those who born Muslims (most Muslims) may never learn and practice Islam and may feel strangers among the on going massive propaganda against Islam, but Muslims who learn and practice Islam and feel its beauty consider it the highest blessing Allah gave them and they prefer to die but not to leave Islam.
Regarding your question I born Muslim but I knew that this was not a privilege but an obligation so I did extensive study and comparisons and after prolonged experience I can tell for sure that Islam is more important for humans than air and water. He knows who tasted and ignorant has no idea.

When u look deep inside and get the sense that theres more to life than meets the eye, u start to realise as u r growing up, what do i believe?
I believe that ALLAH is in our hearts but due to upbringing and influence we donot look deep enough to see. If u r a hindu like i was and cant fathom the worshipping of idols but believes in the Almighty power of God/ALLAH , that GOD alone gave us everything then u may already be a muslim and maybe that may be sad for u but it is what it is.
Muhammad(peace be upon him) is our beloved messanger, a man who taught others that their way may not always be the only way.
He is an example to all humanity and if this doesnt make sense then all u r missing is Hidayat(which only comes from ALLAH). Insha Allah we all gain this...

You terrible human beings have purely shown the point, human beings are compelled into Islam out of worry no longer selection even Judaism, has moved ahead so why is Islam nevertheless stuck in 600AD with the final public of Muslims residing in abject poverty. i don't think OP become extremely being serious she purely needed to tug the lunatics out of the woodwork and my a number of the responses she succeeded. I pity Muslims to be that frightened of a God that in hardship-free words spoke to Muhammed (allegedly) at the same time as different religions of the e book were practice with the aid of many no longer purely on some nit jobs say sp

Islam is the very nature of man. It is the religion and the path chosen by Almighty Allah for mankind so that they may gain happiness in this life and Paradise in the next life. Islam is not a religion in the common and distorted sense, for it does not confine its scope to one's private life. It is a complete way of life and is present in every field of human existence. Islam provides guidance for all aspects of life—individual and social, material and moral, economic and political, legal and cultural, and national and international. The teachings of Islam are simple and intelligible.

At the moral level, Islam teaches us to be truthful, honest, just, compassionate, virtuous; to shun all evils; to be ever bent on doing good deeds while sparing others of any harm or injury. Stated differently, it teaches us to think right, speak right, and act righteously.

At the spiritual level, Islam teaches cultivation of mindfulness of God—being grateful to Him, patient in adversity, and content with His decree and ever willing to make our will conform to His will.
