I do not think that God knows all. In fact, I think that has the biggest thing to do with our purpose. Theory: God has enough will and power bring himself into existence and out of the viod of nothingness. However, he is alone. Alone: one knows no companions, no social structure, no love, no good nor evil, etc. God decides to learnabout such things and splits himself into all that there is. Everything is God, made from him physically and in essence. As we learn, he learns, good, evil, love, hate, everything that we do, he learns from.
He constructed everything as his own experiment,to learn and grow, to know.

Well, I'm not very religious, and I don't plan to say I know the will of god, but here's what I think:
I think if you look all around you, you'll see everything is always in a balance, cause and effect. Why would we need heaven if everything was perfect everywhere? "God(s)" must have created imperfections to balance good and bad. If we didn't have the problems we have today, what would we do? pain and suffering push mankind forward, without it no one would have bothered to do anything. Why invent something when everything is perfect?

I kinda went on a rant there, but hopefully my idea comes out clearly enough. The reason for all things bad, is because they are necessary.

From a philosophical view, you could always say that we as humans can never understand why god would allow something like satan, that it is beyond our comprehension.

And lastly, if you don't believe in god/satan, well then I guess that question is already answered, because he didn't. :D

I hope none of the things I've said have upset anyone. If they have, I apologize, but I still stand firmly by my right to speech :D.

It was kind of a a catch 22, the only reason creating us or the angels was worth while is because had free will, it wouldn't have done any good other wise. However that's also what lead to Satan's fall as well as our own.

I can only assume ( because he chose to do it) that he decided it's better to loose some of us and keep others then for none of us to exist at all.

It's kind of similar to the concept of it's better to have Loved and lost then never to have loved at all.

The question of why a righteous and loving God allows evil to exist is almost as old as the human race. Over 3,000 years ago, Job asked, "Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power? ... Yet they say to God, 'Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways'" (Job 21:7, 14).

Nor does the Bible give us a complete answer to this puzzle. Someday in heaven we'll fully understand God's ways—but not now. We live in a fallen world, a world where evil often seems to be in control. But that isn't the whole story! By faith we know that God still loves us, and His power is greater than all evil. The proof is Jesus Christ, who was put to death by evil men but rose from the dead by the power of God. Never forget this truth: Ultimately, God is in control, not Satan.

And someday God's justice and power will rule, and all evil will be destroyed. Satan will be bound forever, and Jesus Christ will reign over all the earth. In the meantime, we say with the Bible, "How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!" (Romans 11:33, KJV).

The real question, however, is this: Is your trust in God? In the midst of so much confusion and doubt in the world, have you put your faith in Christ, and are you seeking to follow Him every day? Make sure of your commitment to Christ, and then make it your goal to grow closer to Him every day.

Because without freewill Love is not True Love. A Loving relationship must be based on mutual love. Without freewill all would be slaves to God, and unhappy.

Thus creating beings perfectly would include the fuller gift of Chosen Love.

Unfortunately, Satan chose the losing team.

Okay, to answer your first question. Satan was not always evil. He was a beautiful angel in heaven who had acces from heaven and earth. He became a "devil" when he told the first lie to Eve in the garden of eden, so Jesus kicked him out of heaven and he's been lying ever since! The angel rebelled because they wanted to. They rather be bad angels instead of good one!

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.

Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer united it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.

Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.

Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for themself.

God did create satin and he does send angles down to earth but it is all to teach us a lesson... God created satin so that people that didn't believe in him had some wear to go he knows every thing and he knew that not all people would belive in him. God know everything and sees every thing he does stuff to us because he knew we were going to do it he is teaching us a lesson on day every one will understand that.

"It has been believed heretofore in the world that there is one devil that presides over the hells; that he was created an angel of light; but having become rebellious he was cast down with his crew into hell. This belief has prevailed because the devil and satan, and also lucifer, are mentioned by name in the Word, and the Word in those places has been understood according to the sense of the letter. But by "devil" and "satan" there hell is meant, "devil" meaning the hell that is behind, where the worst dwell, who are called evil genii; and "satan" the hell that is in front, where the less wicked dwell, who are called evil spirits; and "lucifer" those that belong to Babel, or Babylon, who would extend their dominion even into heaven. That there is no one devil to whom the hells are subject is evident also from this, that all who are in the hells, like all who are in the heavens, are from the human race (see n. 311-317); and that those who have gone there from the beginning of creation to this time amount to myriads of myriads, and every one of them is a devil in accord with his opposition to the Divine while he lived in the world" (Heaven and Hell n. 544).
