there has to be blood/blood (or other body fluid ) contact... so in the course of normal oral i would say no, or more that its really really imporbable.. but if you add in any stds that cause sores, biting, or any other reason that blood from the giver could end up in the reciever, then yes... and for the record.. while it is transmittable in saliva, you would need something like 4000 gallons of infected saliva ... as opposed to a tiny tiny amount of blood....

Not really sure. The HIV virus is not supposed to be able to thrive in saliva, so if he has a cut or something on his penis and receives oral, it shouldn't affect him because it can't be transmitted through saliva. I'm pretty sure that's the case. However, if the person has a bleeding sore in their mouth (bleeding gums), I'm not sure it's NOT possible to contract it that way.

---

I just double checked: HIV is NOT contracted through saliva, but it is possible to get it from oral sex. This is from the National Institute of Health:

"Although researchers have found HIV in the saliva of infected people, there is no evidence that the virus is spread by contact with saliva. Laboratory studies reveal that saliva has natural properties that limit the power of HIV to infect, and the amount of virus in saliva appears to be very low. Research studies of people infected with HIV have found no evidence that the virus is spread to others through saliva by kissing. The lining of the mouth, however, can be infected by HIV, and instances of HIV transmission through oral intercourse have been reported.
Scientists have found no evidence that HIV is spread through sweat, tears, urine, or feces. "

H.I.V. is transmitted through body fluids i.e. semen, blood, and yes saliva. So if you suspect your partner has H.I.V. and you received oral sex......his/her saliva was on your genitals and could have been absorbed.

Not likely. Possible? yes. You should worry more about getting genital herpes if she has regular herpes, that is way more likely to happen than you getting HIV.
