I love side swept bangs... and I have them!! I think it would look good with blonde hair and they would also work with your face shape. I got my hair cut like this and I LOVE it! And i have gotten soooooo many compliments!
shoulder length
layers
razored
sideswept bangs
highlights (i have brown hair so i got golden highlights..... obviously you will get a different color!!! Or maybe consider low lights!!)

I Love Side swept bangs actully im getting my hair cutt next thursday and i plan on getting side swept bangs if i was you i would either keep my hair long or cut my hair to about my shoulder then top both hair ideas off with side swept bangs!

I don't think color matters. I am blonde and I have a shag cut.
I have shaggy bangs too. I did have side swept bangs, but I
cut never keep them where I wanted them. I think any way
you like them is fine.

What you have in mind sounds smashing! Just don't let them get scissor happy and take off more than an inch or two.Just have any split ends trimmed of and keep your God-given,gorgeous hair as long as you can decently manage.

the swept bangs thing is a cool new style I like it quite a few girls have had it for a while here in germany and looks sexy , layer your hair...

leave your hair as long as possible, just get a trim and then layer the crap out of it..

fur sure get side bangs.
part it to the side of coarse.
layer it from your chin.
have it up to you armpit.
itll look great!
