so i've known this kid for 6 weeks.we met at a camp in NH and he's so amazing..and he's really hot he's wicked funny but he knows when to be funny and when to be serious i really like him it's not just a stupid crush i have real feelings for him the only problem is that he likes one of my really good friends who also goes to this camp and shes known him for longer than i have, and she said that she doesnt like him that way, a different friend of mine told me that when he looks at me and when we're together she thinks that he likes ME cause she said he gets the same smile on his face when hes around my other friend who he likes..i dont want to ruin our friendship because i love how i can tell him anything and i know that he'll always be there for me cause he has been for the past 6 weeks.ever since we met we instantly clicked and we're like best friends..should i tell him how i feel about him. i dont want to ruin our friendship but its killing me knowing that there could b somthing more

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Saying something like "and i know that he'll always be there for me cause he has been for the past 6 weeks", translates to most grown ups as "I have no clue what I'm talking about."

Just enjoy your life, he is almost certainly not your soulmate, your future husband or anything like that. There is no Santa Claus or Easter Bunny either. But that being said, if your friend isn't interested in him you might as well give it a try cus most likely, this guy, (who consequently is always going to be there for you) will be just a faded memory in a year or so. well i dont know extactly how much he likes you but if you say that he gets a smile on his face talking to you..then i'd say he has some interest. but if you say that your friend doesn't like him then thats good.. you can become better friends with him and then maybe something with happen. if you are afraid of ruining your friendship with him then stay friends for now and slowly make your move and give him lil hints that show that you are interested in him more than a friend and if he has the same feelings for you then it will work out. but i dont think you should tell him right away... i think you should get to know him more and ease into telling him...so just be patience and dont let it eat you up. if its meant to happen it will happen.. and just give him hints that you like him and see his reaction.

well the answer to this question is if you do tell him how you fill and its note the same way your filling it's going hurt you real bad right but if he does your going to be very happy but you never ask you'll never know and always wonder so i say find out ask him and if it wreck your friendship then it wasn't a Strong friendship but I don't think it will
