OK, If you are roommates with your ex.....strictly business. and he wakes up the next morning and looks at you and say.....hmmm, you look like you are a mother....someone who can take care of a home...someone who can cook.......and he actually thinks it's a compliment......what is he trying to say?
PS. I already have a child and he knows it......

Sounds strange to me. Is he the father of your child and if so is he taking care of his fiduciary responsibilities? The last thing you need girl is to be raising 2 children. If you are still interested in him then maybe you both need to sit down and talk. Don't you want to share your life with someone who loves you? And doesn't your child deserve the best that Life has to offer? i would definitely look over my options of the situation that you find yourself in.

he sees you as a mother and not a romantic interest. he didn't say you would look hot in a thong, he said you look like the maid. read what makes you feel better into it. he may have been trying to pay a compliment and just made a mess of it.

he wakes up the next morning....the next morning after what? if you two slept together he was probably just trying to fill the silence
at any rate, if he knows you have a kid, then saying that is redundant. to me it seems as if he felt awkward and just blurted out the first thing that popped into his head
