Yes you should jog. theres no age requirement to start jogging. If you don't want to jog alone get a friend to go with you or join a sport. When i was in high school i used to jog 3 miles a day 5 days a week and in the summer 6 miles a day 4 days a week.

i see by your avatar that you are a guy, but i'm a girl and i go jogging every now and then around my neighborhood!! in fact, i just went this morning, and went for a walk yesterday. i DO see older people and older ladies walking together n' stuff, but it doens't bother me, and around here, people are friendly and will say "good morning" when they pass by you---i do it too!!! (to break the akward-ness).
oh' you can take your music if you want and look either straight up as you jog, or look down at the ground >>that's what i do, so i can pretend like i didn't even see the other person coming my way. GO JOGGING!!!!! you will feel good and then once school starts (i'm assuming you're in high school too) you'll be able to run your mile a little bit faster!!!

Yes, its absolutely normal for you to go for a jog at age 15. Maybe there aren't a lot of people who want to stay fit in your neighborhood, but you should'nt be one of them. Just make sure you don't jog until the point at which ur body starts to break down. If you're a first timer, one mile on a 75 degree (Fahrenheit) day should be good.

yea it is normal. i've seen lil kids go to 24 hr fitness run on the treadmills and even do weights.
i think going out for a jog is just a way to keep you in shape. soo yes you should go for a jog around your neighborhood and if you feel odd about it just ask a friend to go with you. but doing some sort of excerise throughout the week is good for your body and health.

Even if they do tell you keep on jogging. It is really normal and it will make you healtier. I would ask a few friends to go with you. But i would bring a lot s of water sine jogging make you tired. If you have a mp3 player bring it while you jog. Good enterrtainment. But if someone tells you dont jog just tell them its good for your health

How sad we have become as a society of sitting in front of the TV and playing video games that this has become a legimate question...having said that, Absolutely. I used to jog around my neighborhood all the time, especially when I was getting in shape for a upcoming sport.

Yeah it's normal, because it's for your health and it will help to build your muscles. So I say don't worry about what other people will think. You know you have to do it anyways. When I get to the 10th grade I'm trying out for the boys football team and I'm not worry what other people is going to think. Don't worry about looking like a fool when you jog.

It is perfectly normal. Lots of people, kids and adults do it in the city I live in. It is a bit hard on your joints after awhile. You might consider walking at a brisk pace. It is just as effective and the long term effects are not as severe.
