Full coverage insurance is based on your risk factor (mostly age in your case), the risk factor of the car type (you are more likely to drive a Mustang GT fast than you are a Kia), and the replacement value.

Buying a used car where they have less to replace than a new car will lower the rate. New cars are a VERY poor investment anyway.

I wouldn't buy a new car yet get some driving experience first then when your driving record shows that your a good driver, the insurance company can see that your ok, then they might lower your rate. Also full coverage costs alot more than liability. While getting used to driving, something dependable and good running in my opinion is better than show at first. AND CHEAPER!!!

Get matrix those are mad hotter.
You should get it used its easier that way.
The new it is though, the more you can sell for when you dont want it anymore.
The newer the car the higher the insurance, also the bigger the car the higher the insurance.
Good luck picking!

It's definatly cheaper to try to get insurance through your parents. Try that as an option first before you get it own your own. You may need to put the car in thier name but it'll be worth it for the money you'll save.

Good luck!
