Once when I was like 5 my brothers friend stole my toy and wouldnt give it back. And I started threatening them by saying I'd call 911 if they didnt give it back. So when they didnt give it back to me I picked up the phone and called 911. Luckly "911' wasn't hooked up in that area yet, so no one picked up and I didnt get in any trouble for it.

Not all places are set up for 911 so look in your phone book for your local police and write the number down near your phone in case you ever need it. My daughter could tell you a funny story about this.
She is the one who answers next.

You Dial 911. It is not a place, it is a number you dial for police or emt help.

Depends on where you live .... it isn't always 9-1-1 .... check your phone book or ask at your police station or library.
