I'm sure there are many American pro illegal immigration advocates who would be more than happy to give up their lives here for awhile and go to other countries to protest for these people and get to the real root of immigration troubles. Immigration troubles didn't start here in the United States, but other countries. So place blame where the blame belongs and stop blaming the United States and its citizens for what is wrong in other countries and with its people. If pro amnesty advocates are so passionate about open borders and immigration then let it be their American right to provide shelter, clothing, medical care and food, and not out of our tax dollars that should be used taking care of the need of our own citizens. Perhaps if these people put in half the amount of determination to gain civil rights in their country as they did here in the United States perhaps they wouldn't have to make that illegal trip through the dangerous hot vast lands of America. Mexico has plentiful resources to care for its citizens and instead of talking about taking back their land here in the United States, how about starting with what is already theres.

Youre 100 Percent Correct

I've Said MANY Times That If The Demonstrations(5/1)
Were Taken To Mexico
(All The ILLEGALs And Their Supporters
Marching Their Demands Across The Border For Instance)
They Would Gain ALOT More Support From US Citizens
AND
The Mexican Government Would Have NO CHOICE
But To Take Notice
And They'd Be Taking Steps Toward Reformation
RIGHT NOW

If You Are NOT HAPPY With Your Government Or Your Country
DONT Come To MINE And DEMAND "RIGHTS"
And Reformations

Make Your DEMANDS In YOUR NATION

We Like Our Laws The Way They Are
And We Do Not WANT Reformation Here

That would actually make sense if people's opinion mattered. If even in the U.S., the concept of "the people choosing their destiny" is becoming more and more a utopian dream, what chance is there that the people in any other country hold a stake in the destiny of those countries. But not to worry, it's only a matter of time untill it doesn't really matter where you're at.

I COMPLETELY agree with "almost" everything you posted.

You "kinda" made it sound that ALL people who want amnesty......also want open borders. I don't. I want secure borders before granting any kind of amnesty....and then with strict guidelines.

I COMPLETELY agree...... the passion they have to live here would be better served helping their own countries........I only wish we had made that clear 20 years ago......not when it became a political agenda. Think how amazing some of these countries would be right now.

Oh and that "taking back the land" crap is just radical nonsense that I ignore.

Great idea. The pro-illegals SHOULD be the one taking care of the illegals, so we don't have to pay for it. Then maybe, the world would heal a little bit.

I'm pro illegal but I also support the sealing of the borders. The problems are in their governments and that their government will most likely strike them down for protesting. I support amnesty for those already here, but without outstanding warrants besides just crossing the border. While we are at it we need to quit blaming our problems and our national debts on the immigrants. Its not their fault what our government does.
