Buy a short leash and take her out on that. Go to the road a few times and if she trys to cross it firmly say, "No". If there is anywhere else you don't want her going do the same thing. After a while of that (may take a few weeks) give her a treat if she does not intent to walk near the road or anywhere else you don't want her going. Soon after that, you may be able to take the leash off. I would start in the back yard. Be extra careful and be by her side at all times. Dogs usually know when they are on leashes and when they aren't. They might make a run for it.This is how I tought my pug.

bring her to the yard. then when she moves towards the street take her back and tell her no. then tell her to stay.
bring her back to the house then out to the yard again.
when she stops and stays in the yard, reward her. say good.
do this a few times a day for a few weeks and she'll learn. but at 2mths....abit young to teach. but can try.
for all the things you teach, use the same method.

My grandma's neighbor has a dog that wears a certain collar that when she goes over the borderline, it gives her a little shock. If you don't want that for your puppy, then maybe keep her on a leash or in a kennel until she can learn. Good luck and have fun!!! :) :) :)

The invisible fence works very well. My dog learned very quickly not to go across the flags. Now we can leave him out all day.

Put him on a leash and walk around. If he crosses the property line, slap his forehead.
